C5051 York Continental Restaurant Knife - Dozen

Years ago I bought round-bowl soup spoons in this Corby Hall pattern, and I love the spoons so much that I make soup just to use the spoons. They feel wonderful in your hand and look beautiful even after ten years. Sadly I could not afford the whole service at the time. This year I thought I'd treat myself for a "big birthday" and buy the rest of the flatware. It's okay but sadly it seems about 20% thinner than the soup spoon, and just feels a little cheesy. It is in no way the same pleasure to use. It looks okay, but just okay, except that the dinner forks are not much larger than the salad/dessert forks and almost don't quite feel like dinner forks. The knife seems okay but could have a little more weight. If I thought I could find the real thing, I'd return them and even be willing to pay more to get the real thing. This feels like a mediocre knock-off. Doesn't Look or Feel Like Real Corby Hall 18/10
