Spigen is the brand of case I consistently buy. Was so happy to see that their reputation hasn’t waived in ten years. It is a very bulky case but the novelty of carrying something retro futuristic like this never disappears. Easy to install but a lil hard to take off, this case will protect every inch of your phone. I have paired it with the camera covers from spigen as well as the screen protector and have no issues with the case itself having broken any of my screen protectors. It does cover the camera button but after seeing reports of the orange iPhone turning pink I think I prefer as much of my phone covered as possible. It’s on the pricier side for cases but I just love that it looks like the old G3 Mac desktop. It brings me back to middle school and learning how to type. The case doesn’t block any of the magnet functions and I’m able to charge and attach the charger without any issue as well as attach the only MagSafe phone stan accessory I have. Can’t wait for this to go on sale and buy a second one! This case will protect your phones resale value.

***Update for same case, but for iPhone 17 Pro Max version: Spigen perfected it!! Whatever they did with the new body material, it’s perfect! There is no slipperiness and the case is AGAIN extremely durable, especially for being a statement piece!! I was originally purchasing this as a “Halloween Costume” for my iPhone, but after using it, I really REALLY love it! I love the addition of the protective section covering the new camera “plateau”, making it look even MORE similar to the original Color Mac Desktop. It looks awesome, it feels incredible, durable, and still somehow light, even protecting the camera button this time! 10 out of 10!! If you like the look of this case, don’t even question it. GET IT! At this price point, for the level of protection, build quality, and attention to detail, you will not be disappointed! Original Review for iPhone 16 Pro Max Case: Okay, so I wasn’t really expecting this case to be any kind of superior case or anything, but it’s surprisingly protective! Pros: The attention to detail and the level of care that went into designing this case is pretty impressive. The rounded edges are very smooth, and everything flows smoothly together, ESPECIALLY considering that it’s a three piece case. Cons: It’s quite slippery in most “hand conditions.” (Think wet, dry, lotioned, dirty, clean, etc.) It also seems to attract fingerprints, but not so much that I would be disappointed with it. Does that make sense? Overall, I like the case and will keep it in my regular rotation, because I really do appreciate the artistic integrity, and it is a pretty structurally solid case. I would consider its protection level to be a “medium.”

I used Otterbox on my last phone because of the construction. This case is constructed much the same way. I’m tired of paying over blown prices for Otterbox, so I spent many hours searching for a similar connstruction. By this, I mean the rubber lining for the phone. Placing the magnets between the rubber inner lining and the phone. The magnets do not touch the phone or case directly. I love this build concept, hard outer shell, rubber inner lining, the perfect combination for awesome protection. The shock in a drop is transferred to the rubber, absorbing the shock. The aesthetics of this case are awesome, Really sweet! The graphics appear to give it a 3 dementional design. I missed the era of the Apple C1 computer, but I do remember all the ads for them. Being a nostalgic type person, I just had to have it. I literally looked at hundreds of cases, returned two, before deciding on this, yes again for the build. The graphics are a bonus. This is a keeper. However not without a little trepidation over my decision. Why? The lip around the front bezel is almost non existent, super, super low. The same goes for the camera lens bezel. Not high enough to offer me peace of mind. However, I will have to trust my instincts that this will protect my phone. When I saw the cut out for the new camera slide button, wide open on many, many cases, I decided any protection there is far better than exposing the phone edge to the elements in a drop. I live in an area where there are rocks, gravel, lots of it, tree branches, mud and grinding dirt, if I drop my phone it will hit some not so friendly turf! This is my concern for my lens and front lip bezel. I can’t testify to the actual ability to protect my phone, as I have not dropped it, and hopefully won’t. This is somewhat slippery depending on if you have sweaty hands or not. I find it quite slippery when my hands are dry, I am tempted to sand the sides a bit. I bought the beautiful tangerine as the orange fits my Desert Titanium color very nicely, I may just purchase a spare of this in another color. I have not tried to remove the case, I do know it won’t be easy. Hey Spigen! Are you listening? A little little grip on the sides please! Pros: Beautiful build. Beautiful graphics. Awesome, thought out design and build. Cons: A bit slippery. You may need this case to protect your phone from the very slipperiness of the case itself. Less than satisfactory lens and front bezel protection. Bottom line? IMHO, buy it! The price point is great. It’s really well designed. Many reviewers talk about a broken case in a drop, but I don’t see many, if any, reviewers talking about a broken phone! Be thankful it did its job, and for the price you can easily buy another.

I picked up the Spigen Classic C1 case mainly because of the look. It is visually dope and hits that nostalgic vibe perfectly. I have been using it since the iPhone 16 Pro Max released in 2024, and it has been amazing the entire time. The case has held up extremely well with daily use and still feels solid and protective. Pros: Strong internal magnet that works great with MagSafe Excellent look, color, and overall feel Good protection without feeling bulky Cons: If I am really nitpicking, there is some very minor paint wear after almost two years of use. Honestly, it is barely noticeable and not a real issue. Overall, this is a fantastic case that combines style, protection, and functionality. I would absolutely buy it again and recommend it without hesitation.

Good enough case. I love the look, but the matte/soft touch finish coating is coming off the colored plastic back. It reveals a smooth finish underneath so it's fine, but it seems very low quality considering it cost $30 when I purchased.

This is such a nice case! the color is true to the description and pictures. Very sturdy and fits very well around the phone and buttons! It has a heft to it and gives the phone extra weight, but it is easily forgotten when using the phone.

Solid case for late 90s nolstagia. Need to remove the plastic tab at the bottom of the case in before fitting your phone, and put back in after. Decent magsafe strength but not the strongest I’ve seen.
