I got this to take the edge off the heat of a memory foam mattress. It's nothing spectacular - I still get too warm sometimes - but the heat is not nearly as bad and I can sleep on a warm night now, so it does the job I need it to do.It looks well made and it has been very secure on top of the mattress, not slipping around at all. I think it's because it has the skirt style attachment rather than just elastic straps.The underside reminds me of the kind of thing you see on padded backpacks - a fairly open foam with mesh in front of it. The top is a nice soft material.I'm replacing the mattress with one that will hopefully be less hot, but even if I don't need this topper to help with temperature regulation any more, it's a comfortable topper anyway so I'll either keep it as a protector for my new mattress or give it to my flatmate who has a much older mattress that might benefit from a small layer of padding.

Lovely quality cover. I have it on top of our memory foam mattress which makes me a bit to warm. This cover has done the trick. It is soft, smooth and cool to lay on. You can feel the quality. Gorgeous. Sweet dreams

I bought 2 months ago based on the reviews and can't agree with the false statement saying that it keeps you cool.At first touch it is cool, but after half an hour the bed becomes hotter than the previous mattress protector we had on. The additional layers seem to trap the air in and cause it to warm up rather than keep you cool. Its so thick that we took it off and thought best to put back on for winter.Also this is fitted to a memory foam mattress, so we bought this to keep us cool and stop us waking up boiling hot each night, so this has the opposite affect and wish we had the option for a return and full refund.It is certainly good quality, and it is comfortable, but don't purchase for the cooling properties, save some money and purchase something of the same quality for less.

I’d concluded I’d have to replace my mattress because my sleep was continually being disturbed by waking up feeling desperately hot. I have to admit that I was dubious about the claims made for this product, but it’s made a remarkable difference. I’m sleeping much better and the over-heating is much reduced. It fits very smoothly onto my double mattress and has the additional benefit of making the sheet smoother and less inclined to wrinkle too. It’s not often that I feel that a product really deserves its rave reviews, but I would think this is about as good as it’s going to get in finding a solution to an over-hot mattress.

I used this on a spring mattress which I found too warm,unfortunately very little if any improvement. The side elastic is too soft to hold it as well as it should. The quality of the other materials appears good but what you would expect at this price. as this is sold for the cooling effect rather dissapointing.

This arrived damp and mouldy, with watermarks and mould spots all over it. The sleeve it came in was ripped and absolutely stinks so I have no idea how this was not spotted before shipping. Very disappointing!
