I have every one of Candace Camps books all excellent and just know if she is the author then it will be a brilliant read. Please keep writing

This story has such a nice twist, with the standard feisty woman joined by her adorable child as they interact with the boy’s new guardian. Candace Camp is a super writer and this is one of her best books. Looking forward to more from her, hopefully soon.

I enjoyed Noelle and Carlisle's story. The ending though left quite a few questions unanswered. Maybe they will be in the next book. Would recommend.

What a wonderful read! Enemies to lovers with a mystery thrown in. I highly recommend this book.

I didn’t like the ending. You go through the entire mystery then it just abruptly ends. No epilogue or anything. No next book in the series. Usually I like her books, but not this one.

I really enjoyed this book, but the ending was so abrupt. Zero denouement. It was a great read until that point. No loose ends were really wrapped up, it made the end really unsatisfying.
