These pods are consistently good in quality across the range of six separate boxes, the plastic film wrap on each pod is differently coloured in order that it is possible to distinguish between the different styles of coffee. Of the pods themselves they are light, the film wrap is not difficult for the Dolce Gusto machine to puncture and therefore is unlikely to damage your machine or cause wear and tear with repeated use of a greater sort than expected.None of the talked of problems with the seal being too tight resulting in small pieces of plastic making their way into the cup of coffee that I have read about with some generic or alternative brand pods to the Dolce Gusto "official" brand. There is the same "run off" or leakage from used pods as with most pods, so a good idea to have a tissue lined box or paper cup to dispose of used pods into for long enough that they may drain some what before they are disposed off in the trash can. Otherwise you could be looking at some liquid gathering in the base of the bin or running out of the bin.I liked the flavours of all of the coffee, they also generate some great, strong coffee aromas in the making of/preparation process, particularly the darker roasts. I do not have a favourite personally and they all have a fantastic froth or "sheen" upon the top of the dark brew, a feature that I really love from good coffee pods and espresso coffees made from grounds. These pods are probably ideal for making espresso shot sized drinks or slightly larger lungo style glasses of coffee but around our office everyone has drawn average, and even larger, mugs of coffee from them and not found that they are too dilute or watery to drink. Recommended. Will definitely consider making repeat purchases from this range of coffee pods. Definitely recommended.

Great taste and a good variety of flavours but - says compatible with dolce gusto machine however I did find some issues with the machine getting the water in and the coffee out into the cup. This seemed a particular issue with the decaf variety where on 4 out of the 10 pods used so far they have not 'popped' allowing the coffee to flow freely and I have had to restart the machine to get a cup of coffee out of it. So far not an issue with the other varieties so perhaps just a one off batch?

Pods appear to be over pressurised, a few have burst in the machine mid pour resulting in a major clean up and a wasted pod each time. 3 pods for 1 coffee plus 20 minutes clean up, not acceptable

I bought this taster collection as we both drink coffee and are going through loads. This seemed well priced but I never picked up on the 'Espresso' description. Subsequently using 2 x pods per mug so no longer cost-effective.For the strength ratings of the coffees, I was expecting a bit more flavour to be honest.I doubt I will be buying these again and will ready properly in future.Can't return once opened either.

Taste nowhere near as strong as claimed. The intensity 13 blend (highest one) here is nothing compared to a strength 13 from other brand, especially the proper Dolce Gusto ones. I'd steer clear of these and fork out a bit more if you want actual strong coffee. I'm genuinely using 2 pods per cup to make it have any strength to the taste.On the plus side, I've not had any burst or leak yet like some people here have. Only used about 10 or so though.

Absolutely wonderful blends of coffee pods and so many per box.Highly recommended

The product itself is quite nice. However, it is difficult to get the coffee to flow from the pods. I lost probably four pods from each box, because the packing at the bottom does not collapse correctly. Probably won't be buying again

I wish I had never bought these...About a third of the capsules don't work with my original Dolce Gusto machine. It takes forever, still only a small amount of liquid passes through the capsule, and the coffee inside is hardly touched. Of course, the resulting "coffee" tastes very weak.
