Fraud/Theft - If I could give it zero stars I would
Skeptical but never surprised by tech advancements and enterprising ventures, I took a chance on what I thought was a new company trying to put its mark out just like Alienware before them. I was curious about what they created and the quality of its components.I ordered this unit and this is what they sent me. My entire life I have ordered laptops, desktops, and other expensive electronic and digital hardware, and not once has anyone ever sent me the incorrect model. Alarmed I immediately became suspicious and looked My Technology Geeks up online. There are on the BBB and other consumer websites numerous complaints about this company and their dishonest business practices and poor customer service which includes retaining funds and ghosting.I began the process for a refund immediately. Following I received instructions along with the statement that the company reserves the right to retain a 20% "restocking fee". I knew from online complaints that despite the fact they were the ones who made the error this is what they would do to me and that is exactly what happened.Because I paid for the Asurion 3-year protection my total amounted to $1,006.30 USD. When I received the refund I received $911 USD. They kept $94.40 USD as their "restocking fee". Effectively, they made me pay for shipping, receiving, returning, and restocking for their mistake. I neither received service, nor product, and they made money off of me.Despite very careful, deliberate, and precise communication with My Technology Geeks, they continued on the scam of defrauding me and stealing money from me. I do not believe they have in their inventory a gaming all-in-one PC as they advertise.I, per my promise to them, filed with the Trade Commission, FBI, notified the BBB, and several consumer magazine outlets, and also am sending in a claim through Amazon.Look up the owner of the company, its officers, even employees can be found online. If any of them are ever actors, owners, contributors, or employees of any other company in the future...avoid that company its services, and its products at all costs.I would not be surprised if this company after inquiry and investigation is a criminal front for laundering or other similar activities.
