This review is for the Turbro EF23-PB fireplace logs. This is a very good product and I believe a good value if you have realistic expectations. This is not going to look exactly like burning logs and it is not going to heat your home. I bought this for my living room fireplace. My living room is very large. I didn't buy this with the expectation that it would heat my living room, I just wanted it to provide some supplemental heat and that is what it does. My dogs sleep in front of the fireplace and they love the extra warmth. If you stare directly at it, it is not going to fool anyone but in the background it provides a very nice ambiance and gives you the impression that there is a fire going. And it does this at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with my purchase.When the logs arrived the remote didn't work. I contracted Turbro support. The responded the next day. The asked me to try a couple things and it still didn't work. They requested some additional information and said that they would ship a new remote but they they were on back order and it would take 1 to 2 weeks. Three weeks later the new remote was delivered (shipping took a week as it was coming from China). The new remote works fine. All responses from support were within a day and I was notified with shipping information. I would have preferred that everything work right out of the box but since it didn't I am very satisficed with the support I received.

I had nothing inside my fireplace because we're getting a gas fireplace insert AT SOME POINT but now that the Fall weather is acting cozy FINALLY I wanted that fireplace look. It's so easy you just unbox and plug it in. Boom you're done. It has many settings which I love! I will admit the cracking sounds sounds fake and I don't use it. it also has a heater option that I haven't tried yet. I tried doing the Bluetooth option but I'm not having any luck but the remote is working out just fine. If you're on the fence about it ORDER IT! you're going to love it!

Used this setup to replace vent-free gas logs. Gas logs looked great and gave off a lot of heat but vent free or not, they were expensive to run. This does the job perfectly. Looks fairly realistic, enough to add a little atmosphere to the room at least, and has the added bonus of using with or without heat. Don’t buy it for the “cracking log sound effects” though…that noise is simply hideous. Arrived quickly, worked right out of the box.Very happy.

The media could not be loaded. If you are just going for looks then this unit can’t be beat for the price. The crackling sound is small and cheap sounding but you can turn it off. The heat output is ok but did not raise the temp in my basement after running on full all night. The app and the remote work perfect and the colors look great.

This is a wonderful style fjreplace heater. the heat is breat and can heat up my bedroom comfortably on a snowy night. One word of caution, I had to buy another one because my first one almost caught in fire due to my own error. It says not to plug this in to an extension cord. I did and it was a huge mistake on my part. I bought another one because I liked it and so far I'm having no oroblems.

Purchased the Turbro 23" wide Electric Fireplace Model SF413-23A as a Christmas gift. Logs are small but nice looking and the LED flames are okay. Was very disappointed that the light of the flames does not come thru the front "grate". Worse a large white company logo really spoils the illusion (see pictures). There is a significant hum even without the heater on - and when the heater is on the fan is loud and distracting. It does put out a lot of heat quickly. Last I was thrown off in my search by the "Crackling Fire" comment in the description which I took as the unit came with a crackling noise - a feature that was included in other similar units I was choosing between. This unit does not have a crackling sound. Unit was returned - Amazon is excellent about returns.

The media could not be loaded. Our gas fireplace was old and tired. It did put out some heat but couldn’t see the flames. We didn’t heat with it anyway and just enjoy the ambiance of a fire. We purchased this electric insert. People think it’s a real fire and go stand by it and can’t figure out why it’s not putting out heat. It does have a small electric heater that puts out some heat but we don’t run it. We heat with natural gas furnace. We love this thing and run it everyday! You can see from video in broad daylight it is bright. You can also dim at night if too bright.

We recently found out that the fireplace in the house we bought a year ago is not up to code, and would be quite expensive to fix. We don’t really have the money or time to make is a useable fireplace, or to put an electric/gas insert in at the moment. We decided to get one of these, and we were lucky enough to get one super cheap as we decided to go for a used one. It’s not the best quality of a fake fire out there, but it can’t be beat for the price we paid and it looks much nicer than the empty dark hole of a fireplace. It definitely makes the room feel so much cozier.
