The media could not be loaded.  I recently had a confrontation with a stranger while walking to work early in the morning when it was still very dark. Afterwards I realized I needed to not only carry pepper spray, but also something to record when I’m walking alone. I didn’t want to use my phone in the event that it would get damaged or snatched from me, phones aren’t cheap. While looking on Amazon, I came across this relatively inexpensive device and thought it was worth a try. A couple of concerns were it was not a brand I recognized, but it was a good price point. I did a video review (my apologies at the video isn’t the greatest, but I hope it helps).Some key points are:1. It’s very small and compact.2. It has everything you need, including the memory card.3. Video can be played back on the device so you don’t have to transfer it to a computer. This is the same for audio and pictures.4. The tripod is a nice touch in the event you want to use it for other purposes. I’m thinking this would be fun for kids as a cheap alternative to a gopro. However, I do not know the durability of this device versus a GoPro.I will start using this device immediately as I often walk early in the morning and it would be great to record any future confrontations as it may help identify anyone who tries to be confrontational.

This is a significant drawback for extended use.Gimmicky Alarm Siren Feature: The inclusion of an alarm siren, difficult to activate and seemingly unnecessary, raises questions about the practicality of its design, particularly for law enforcement use.Durability Concerns: The device's small build and susceptibility to water damage are concerning, especially for outdoor or rigorous environments.Limited Night Vision Capability: The camera’s performance is hindered without the use of night vision, which further reduces its battery life.Conclusion:In essence, this body camera serves basic recording needs but is hampered by its limited battery life and some impractical features. For those in need of a simple, compact device for short-term use, it might suffice. However, for professionals seeking a dependable, all-day recording solution, especially in challenging environments, looking into more robust alternatives is advisable. Consider investing in a high-quality micro SD card to ensure the safety and longevity of your recordings.

The media could not be loaded.  It's great for documenting things without worrying about losing an expensive camera. The build quality is decent, and the video quality is surprisingly good for the price. It's perfect for shooting POV videos.

This body camera is primarily marketed for outdoor and law enforcement use, and while it does produce reasonably clear videos in various lighting conditions, its suitability for other outdoor or sports activities is somewhat limited.One notable drawback is the absence of image stabilization, which significantly impacts its performance during outdoor activities like cycling. The resulting shaky footage hinders the camera's ability to capture high-quality videos in such scenarios. It excels when used by individuals who are primarily stationary, as it delivers the best results under those conditions.The camera does come with a tripod mount which can be attached to the screw mount on the bottom side of the camera. It also advertised as having webcam functionality for computers. However, I encountered difficulty in getting this feature to work effectively. Despite attempting to connect the device to both my PC and Mac, I was unable to get my computers to recognize it as a webcam - it was only recognized as a USB storage device.If you are in the market for a body camera primarily for outdoor activities or sports, this may not be the best choice due to its lack of image stabilization. However, it does have a decent camera and may find utility in other less physically active use cases.
