I got this to replace a light above my shower. The existing light has a 4 inch can about 6 inches deep. It had a fluorescent bulb which burned out years ago and I've not been able to find a replacement. I saw this light and thought it would be perfect. The only problem is I can't fit the light and the box in the existing can so I'll have to figure out how to remove the old can which might be difficult because I can't access it from above.The new light itself looks great. It's approved for wet locations which is what I needed for my shower. There is a rubber gasket which goes between the light and the ceiling but it won't really get wet other than some steam moisture. The electrical wires already have connectors attached so that's a big plus. I prefer LED lighting and it's great that you can adjust the brightness as well as the color temperature. I can't wait to get this installed. I just hope removing the old canister won't be too much of a project. The rest should be easy. Everything appears to be consistent with a quality lighting product.
