A brilliant intro to konjac noodles, the varieties in this pack are great. Although they are all essentially the same, the different shapes (Penne and noodles) give off the impression of eating different foods. The noodles come in a liquid that needs to be rinsed off, and I good mine either by gently boiling, or gently stir frying (depending on the dish). I've found them really inoffensive, and they seem to just take on the taste of whatever they are cooked with, so I use a lot of garlic!The only drawback for me is that they are less filling, so I find myself using more than I would usually, and about 1 1/2 packs for 2 people.

Provided the instructions are followed these effectively have no taste, good or bad.I found that a heavy sauce, with cheese added helped to mask the texture, which was not to my taste.The texture as they come, warmed up, is like the white stuff on the end of chicken bones - not going to do any harm but something that if noticed I would normally avoid eating.So, cooking over long, in a bolognese sauce, with extra cheese helped make it seem like it might be food.Not really my thing.

I am really impressed with this pack Konjac pasta. It comes with 6 packs containing 2 servings each. These are split into two packs of three different types of pasta shape. These being two packs of penne, two of fettuccini and two of spaghetti.They are really quick to cook and have an al dente texture. Flavour wise they have no flavour but soon soak up the flavour of the sauces in your dish.They are very low calorie and are great for bulking out a meal, making it filling without the heavy carb after effects.If you are on a keto or low carb diet then this set is great and have a wonderful variety. I would highly recommend it.

It's tastes like rubber, it's tasteless and I won't be buying again.

The first thing that caught my attention, because of the novelty, is that there are 3 different types of noodles, not the standard thin and thick ones, but spaghetti, penne and fettuccine. It's just a small change of shape but it's nice for a change.The box includes the 6 sachets of pasta, but inside each sachet the pasta comes in a separate bag. That's because it comes in a liquid so accidents are avoided. Very well designed.They are very quick to cook, so much so that all you really need to do is heat them up in the sauce of your choice.Like all noodles of this type, they hardly taste of anything and the flavour is the accompaniment we use. The texture is soft, pleasant and not at all "slippery".

As an introduction to konjac this is a fabulous variety pack containing spaghetti, fettuccine and penne pasta.Konjac is a bit of an acquired taste as it looks, smells and tastes different to wheat pasta. I find that it has a bit of a fishy smell but this fades when you rinse the pasta a couple of times. It has a white, slightly transparent appearance and it’s more rubbery than traditional pasta.What it may lack in appearance and texture, it makes up for with its incredibly low calorific value. There are only 10 calories in one whole pack and the pack contains two servings!I’ve had a number of packs now and whilst I was incredibly bloated and gassy after my first two packs, it was less noticeable from the third pack onwards. So stick with it if this happens to you as it’s worth it! It’s just because konjac contains nothing the body can process so it’s a little difficult to digest.Priced at £9.99 (at the time of review), I think it is incredible value for money and I would definitely consider ordering again.
