Not totally impressed!
Not overly happy with this item. Nice looking inflatable, except it does not fully inflate! Spent a lot for this and am not happy with the results. Wont recommend!

Great size
My grandsons love this inflatable. The youngest boy tried to get on to sit with the penguins. It is a great size and it very noticeable. I was glad that it included ties and stakes to keep it from blowing away. The fabric is like parachute fabric. It got some water inside after a rain and I was able to squeeze it out and let sun dry it before putting it away. I have used this inflatable for two winters without any problems.Update: The favorite polar bear didn't blow up this year (2021). We were disappointed especially the six year old grandson. So, we used it three seasons. I wish the motor was stronger to work for a another season or two. We had no other problems with it. It simply stopped working.

Works perfectly and I love it!
I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I did! One reviewer said that it didn't hold up well on the East Coast but that maybe it would work in CA. I'm in SoCal and I've not had any problems. The fan is strong enough to keep it upright and the lights are bright enough to see it along my cul-de-sac. It's perfect and it looks so cute! I would recommend this to other West Coasters.UPDATE: It made it through the holiday season, no problem!! I am very pleased with this inflatable. It made it through wind, rain and cold 30 degree nights. Yes, strong winds blew it over to its side a time or two, but the problem isn't the fan not being strong enough, it is making sure you have it securely tethered to the ground. It's an inflatable, not a building. I don't know what the other reviewers were expecting. I can't wait to use it again next year!

don't waste your time
mine the thing that you use to tie it down ripped off they basically told me good luck with it didn't help with it at all and it's hard to keep it up it just blows over

Fan is not strong enough, lights are weak, but it is huge and soooo charming--I love it anyway
Package was missing the required tie downs and the stakes provided were way too small so we had to improvise. The fan is severely underpowered for this enormous inflatable; it takes several minutes to inflate and has to be propped up while doing so and even with the slight addeed weight of morning dew it tends to go into a kneeling position [might have worked better with slightly shorter legs]. The lights are very ineffectual and not well placed [can hardly tell the penguins are there after dark], but since the bear is white it shows up even with minimal ambient light. That said, it has held up well in blustery, rainy Seattle weather and makes a big impact in the yard. A charming design. Note--because of placement of penguins and wreath it really has to be set up with them facing the "traffic" for best effect.

DECENT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY
The only issues we had with this product are:1. The fan is in the wrong location to self inflate. Most of the time we would have to help it inflate due to the location of the fan.2. If it rains before it inflate you will have to help empty the water out of the noise or it will not get of the ground.

The Weak Motor Diminishes the Fun
For one of the largest blow-ups I have, this thing must have one of the weakest motors. No matter how we set him up, the motor gets covered by the excess leg upon downtime. This blowup had to be helped up every night. It has become annoying to have to remember to run out when it gets dark and see my other 10 blowups pumped up and going and then see this beached whale, face down in the grass. During periods of rain or snow, with even the slightest amount of water weighing down the penguins and wreath, it is a chore to get this thing up.Now, in and of itself, I love the Polar Bear and it is a favorite among neighbors, but I am seriously considering trading up next year for something less labor intensive. Great aesthetic; piss-poor choice of motor power and placement. More disappointed than pleased.
