Very good text and introduction to Monet, his life and works.As with all the books in this series the colour prints are adequate but lack the vivacity of other, more expensive works I highly recommend seeing the works 'in the flesh'.Recommended.

One should buy this book to add a feather to his/her/their book collection. The pages are excellent and the pictures added in this book are marvellous. There is ample discussion about the painter and the picture in question.

Fascinating book. The first I've read that links Monet's thought processes to his painting techniques to his finished paintings.
