I have wanted a camera endoscope for some time. They have been in the thousand dollar plus range for some time as those units included the viewing screen and sturdy base unit.Well, thanks to modern technology (thank you modern technology!), this can all be had for under $40. I charged up the pack, downloaded the app for the iPhone 6s plus, followed the instructions, and had it working in under 20 min. I didn't really time it, but it was all working quickly and easily.It appears to have a macro lens, so it sees close up VERY well. Further away, not so good. However, that's what is wanted. The led lights are nice and bright, the attachments work well, and I prefer the extra cord length with this scope. The images are really high resolution. I had it zoom up on my hand in the dark and in the light - I could see very fine detail with good color.For the price, this is absolutely awesome. I just don't have a thousand dollars plus for the two or three times a year I would use this. When I need it, it is worth every penny.

So, all the "its hard to connect to hdsee" are people with zero technical skillz at all. Thats not the problem, and i say this having only ever purchased 1 one of these things. There is a pretty big delay in video and video quality isnt that good. Unless your looking for something you cant miss in your pipes, youll have to very slowly slide it down due to delay, then wait n see if its focused, etc. Again, 1st one and they may all be like this, but it works just turn off mobile data, open app and turn on

This Boroscope works Great!! It works perfectly on my iPhone (7+) and iPad (1st gen 12.9" pro), both running iOS 11.2.6. The image is amazing on both devices, but especially the big iPad - I can clearly make out ridges in my fingernails and see the fine detail of my fingerprints. The frame rate appears to be about 15-20 frames per second, which is more than enough for this application. The first one didn't work, but I replied to the followup email (From "Vinkel LLC") I received from them (sent through Amazon), letting them know that I was having problems. Rae replied & asked me to perform a few troubleshooting steps (putting the iPhone in Airplane mode first, so it Only has an IP address from the endoscope's private WiFi network), but I still had a grey screen & no picture. Rae cheerfully sent me a replacement scope that works great. I'm very happy with the quality and performance of the product, and I'm especially satisfied with the support I received.

Even though it's been a year since I purchased this endescope, it isn't something that is used everyday. The first couple of times I used it In was able to get it to work. Since then I have tried it several times and it doesn't link to WiFi. I have tried it on an iPad, and two different Android phones, and it refuses to work. I even tried different apps, and that didn't help. I feel like I wasted my money on this junk. Too late to return it, so I guess it's headed for the trash.

Sadly I can't get this to work over WiFi using my Samsung S9 Plus or with an iPhone 8. I did get the camera to connect using USB to the Samsung, with software for another camera, but that kind of makes it useless for me. I was hoping the company had a firmware update that would fix it, but I just got caught in Chinese Product Hell trying to find who really makes the camera & wifi adapter.

Hint- if working in a sewer 4" drain to know which is up and down pour a little water, say maybe a cup and watch for the trickle, that is bottom. Just orient your phone so trickle is at bottom. I found my root problem and because I marked the camera cable every foot, I knew where to dig.

Wouldn't work at all. It connects through it's own wifi, which worked, but showed only a black screen no matter what I did. Utter garbage.I work in IT and I couldn't make it work at all.Utterly useless.

It does the job and comes in a nice hard case. It is hard to handle to be honest and takes a while to get minimally used to it. It was very well priced so it is a good investment if you need to check in hard to reach places.
