Not to be confused with a converter. It does not convert 220 volts, used in Europe, to 115 volts used in the US.It is intended an adapter so small electronics can be plugged into the two or 3 pin outlet in Italy and other places using that system. As long as your electronics can be used on either 115 and 220 volt systems it will work. IPhones, a number of electronic shavers, and a number of portable battery packs for charging phones are designed to run on both 220 and 115. Simple to use and durable.

Bought a International convertor kit and noted it had a step down transformer and adapters - but all the apple products and phone chargers were already 220V compatible - So I looked at this product got two for a very reasonable price and off to ITALY - it worked like a charm the 10 days there - has a little play in the prongs which is excellent to lock it in place. And given the small profile easily fit in the Socket and did not obstruct the other plugs. I also bout a 3 usb charger from Ikea which i plugged in since it worked on 220 as well and charged multiple items.Check the country you are using it in - works in Italy and thus Europe (Great Britian has a funky plug and this will not work from what i understand). Light weight. These wall socket/ outlet adapters fit Danish outlets. But, adding a phone adapter to the outlet adapter, dragged the plug out of the socket. I just used some tape to hold them together (avoiding any metal contacts) and it worked fine.

Just what I need. Will be used to charge my phone in Europe.

These worked for all my items while traveling however the plug is slightly loose and my hair tools, while they did work, did not fit snugly into the adapters which felt a little sketchy.

These adapters do the job. They're svelte... easily fit in travel toiletries case so always on hand when needed.
