The clearer works fine and vacuums up debris nicely, especially leafs and other larger bits and pieces. Obviously there are no moving parts to wear out so that is a plus. One downside is that after not quite 6 months of use the cord that is used to tighten the bag around the top of the cleaner has basically disintegrated. It became very brittle and began to break off chunks at a time. I eventually replaced it with a shoe string and that has worked fine.

It works just as it said it would and was less expensive than hiring someone else to do it. It does take a little getting use to maneuvering it but that is to be expected. I have no regrets about this purchase.

Works great, arrived on time and used it several times without a problem.

They changed the hose attachment on the newest model which required me to get a new attachment from the hardware store. The new attachment is slightly smaller than the old version which absolutely translates to less pressure. This new model is about 80% as effective as the older model.

This is the shoddiest thing I have recieved. I took time off today to work on the pool. Put this together and immediately the hose connector piece broke... I had a cheaper one I’d gotten from the local hardware store and it’s connector was the same... so I used it.... finally get it in the water and the plastic piece holding the bag breaks and everything goes spraying back into the pool... I’m still determined so I knot the bag and back into the pool it goes... this time I get maybe 5 minutes and the plastic piece the holds the pole breaks. So I’ve spent an hour in the hot sun and done nothing except try to Jerry rig a brand new piece of equipment....so bottom line buy at your own risk.

We purchased this because we have a large tree that hangs over our pool and continuously drops leaves. It is incredibly difficult to get all the leaves out with the regular pool vacuum but this thing is amazing! Worth every penny!
