This is pretty much what I expected. These are very flat sandals with no support, don't think you're getting a great shoe at this price. They have enough padding to be fairly comfortable, I couldn't wear them for hours sightseeing or shopping, but they will do fine for a couple of hours out. I thought the strap across the toes was also elastic, but it isn't. It fits my narrow feet fairly well, so if you wear wide the toe strap may be too tight. The criss-cross heel strap is elastic, and fits snugly, which is great. It may also feel tight for wide feet. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, sandals I can get away with an 8 because my toes aren't smushed. These are on the small side I would say, if they had an 8.5 that would be perfect but I think the 9 would be big and leave me a flap on the front. My foot hangs off a tiny bit, but it's okay. Probably best to size up if you are a half size. I got the navy, which is a very dark navy blue. They look pretty good on, and I am pleased with my purchase.

These are very comfortable and stylish. The olive color goes with just about everything. I love how the elastic bands keep the sandals from doing the thwap thwap noise like with some looser fitting. I just wish the footbed was a bit more contoured so one's foot actually stays where it should be; I find as I'm walking about, the footbed slowly but surely starts turning a little angled so parts of my toe and diagonally heel start no longer being on the actual bed. That's the only reason for a 4 instead of 5 star.

I love these sandals. They're easy to dress up or down and can go with almost anything. I took one star off because they're definitely not a true black (I ordered the mixed tone brown leather with black straps), and pull a little navy, which isn't helped by the fact that they're top-stitched with navy thread. However, unless you have an extremely sharp eye for color variations or are looking very closely, you'll hardly notice. At the price, you get what you pay for so I can't really complain. Don't expect any arch support because these are true flats, but they're comfortable enough for light walking and moderate wear. These seem to be true to size, however the bottom seems a little narrow. I don't have wide feet, but I feel like they disappear under my feet. It's not enough to be uncomfortable or deter me from wearing them however. Just something to be aware of.
