I had one of those trendy Goorin Bros trucker-style hats, but between the fit and the high structured crown it looked silly on my large head. I found this hat, and ordered it in XL in hopes it would be a good alternative, and also unique enough on it's own and not necessarily mistaken for a Goorin Bros hat or one of the countless, often cheesy or low-quality, knockoffs that are running around.This hat is well made. The stitching is good, the interior lining is good, the construction is good. It fits like a more casual cap, so it's not a high, structured crown like many hats these days. It sits closer to your forehead, but not quite flush. The brim is pre-curved just a bit rather than flat. In short, it's the type of hat fit I prefer.Better yet, the XL size fits my large noggin, which is somewhere between a US size 7-7/8 and 8 depending on the hat brand. It fits nicely, with more room on the adjustable plastic snapback. It hits along my temples, sides, and back of my head at the appropriate height and is overall a comfortable hat.The snap "size" I have it adjusted to is just the tiniest bit snug, and the next one is just the tiniest bit too big. But I hope it will stretch out just a bit. Otherwise, it's still manageable and I'll have a temporary but not painful indentation on my skin.I'm very, very happy with this hat and it's already got compliments. I'm a fan of Matsumoto Hoji's art (the artist from the 19th century who did the original of this frog), so I really like the image on this hat.And although I got this through Vine, I would definitely pay $18.99 for this hat. That is more than a fair price given it's appearance and construction.

My daughter loves this hat. It's whimsical without being too cutesy. It fits her well, and she says it's comfortable enough. But if you're use to higher quality, better fitting hats, you may waffle with this one. I can't imagine it'd be very comfortable over long periods of time (again, if you're use to more comfortable hats). Still, really cute, would still get again.

I was excited to get this hat because of the little art patch on the front of it, "Matsumoto Hoji's Frog." I was, at the same time, concerned about the hat style in general. A "trucker's hat". Trucker hats tend to have a tall center crest, a flat brim, and the mesh back is usually some awful plastic mesh.Fortunately, this hat is mostly none of those things. Although it does have a mesh back, the material is a nice and soft mesh material. The brim is pre-curved and the center crest is that of a standard baseball hat. It would be more accurate to call it a "Baseball hat" (or worse, a "Dad hat"). I am pleasantly surprised by the overall design and quality of this hat. It is way nicer than I had expected it to be. 5 stars.

I wasn't sure what to get as usually adjustable hats don't come in different sizes (at least the ones I've bought). I got the medium. It fits me, but I had to adjust it to two little notches from the largest size. I think it would look better if the whole hat was a little bigger as well. I have kind of a big head, so I should have gotten the large to begin with, I just didn't think about it too much at the time of ordering. It fits my 10 year old son great though.The hat looks great, just like the product pictures and the quality seems very good.

I really like this frog/toad trucker hat from Hatphile. It's made well with quality materials and clean stitching throughout. It looks just like advertised in the photos. The framed frog on the front feels and looks like a patch. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat and was easily able to adjust the back of the hat to fit perfectly. The hat comes with a slight curve in the brim already. It looks and fits great, and at $18.99 (at time of review) i believe it to be priced right. 5 stars!
