3 Inch Electric Exhaust Cutout with Elbow Valved Muffler Valvetronic Exhaust Valve Kit

Have had on my pickup tied to complete oem exhaust for a few weeks now and so far its been working and sounding great! If you have someone who actually knows how to weld, its easy. Be sure to cover up the motor really good to avoid slag meltin through. BE SURE to open and close cutout multiple times to clear out any debris that gets stuck in between. I even reached up and ran a scotch bright with it open. Route wiring cleanly and safely. Find good strong connections and mount that reciever good. Remote reaches a good 50-100ish feet give or take. Video is before i cleared it out by hand* you can see it gets debris stuck, but once cleaned and closed, my pickup is dead silent. Crazy change.

I have had many brands. QTP, Badlanz and generic. This is the best I have had. The y pipe is a bit longer than what I am used, but that's better than too short. I was a bit worried about the harness riding over the piping. The motor can be removed and rotated to remedy this. No issues with the remote working. This thing open and closes in no time. The motor is attached to the valve by a tension spring so the butterfly valve never rattles. Sadly it does leak a little around the hinges and oddly the screws that hold the valve to the axle. Nothing bad and better than all the other brands. You dont hear it unless your'e under that car. The motor can not be opened, so its not serviceable which is my only concern.

As per the instructions I tested function before installing I plugged the controller in to my cigarette lighter which worked at first so I continued the install and finished everything then left the shop and for about 10 minutes everything worked great until I got on the highway then the control box started smoking with a small fire inside it. I immediately pulled over and unplugged it and tried to stop the fire. Now the valve is stuck open and I can’t close it because the controller is fried. The whole purpose of buying this was so I could make my car quiet when I get in my neighborhood and now I have to try to get it back to stock so I can drive tomorrow.

These are very good! Alot better than others and the motor is water resistant. I have driven through flooded streets and they work great. The motor is strong enough to be opened to any position and closed at freeway speeds and WOT

Decent. Worked well for a while and was honestly pretty sick but started to squeak hella loud and didn’t close or open anymore and my return/refund window is closed and can’t get a new one. :UPDATE ,there customer service really caught me off guard. They contacted me and really helped get it sorted with a 2 year product warranty which I didn’t know it originally had. Cool to see them looking out for the customers. Excited to throw the new one back on and I recommend this cutout for a budget friendly/good resulting product.

I bought a set in July of 2024 to put on my ls swap skylark. They worked great and sounded good. But now a year later with not many miles the passenger side one started rattling. Took to muffler shop that installed them and they said must be the flapper rattling. Can’t see why. Now I have to buy another set so I don’t have that annoying rattle. They obviously don’t last long

Product is truly a very well put together package. Welds are beautiful. I had an actuator motor go out during the testing of the unit before getting it installed and the seller handled it right away. Do yourself a favor, and this goes for everyone, no matter where you buy this type of product from; Do a pre-install test: it is easy, hook it up to your car battery/cig lighter outlet while at home… test the flap a bunch first just to make sure everything is tip top prior to install. Buy from these guys and be confident if anything should come up it will be handled right away. That’s why I am writing this review because if on the rare occasion in case anything goes wrong… what really matters is if the seller has your back. I sent the seller a message and they shipped the part the same day and provided me tracking to follow the package also that same day. From the looks of prior reviews my motor being defect was a very very rare case, but just wanted to tell you all that it was handled properly. FYI: Absolutely no problems whatsoever with the replacement. Happy with the purchase. Happy with the product. Very happy with the seller. If this is what you are looking for, I would definitely buy it right here. This is a legit purchaser review. I never really do reviews but this is an exceptional product and for the help I got and the entire purchase for such a great price this is the least I could do. Seriously if your are going to get one of these, buy from these guys. (I purchased this in November 2024 in case anyone later is curious about quality timelines, cause you can mark mine down as excellent) 100% happy with this purchase ! Still blown away by the workmanship of this product ! Absolutely worth the purchase price. (I think I paid about $97 USD) Well worth it !

Works as expected, no leaks. Happens to be the exact size of the resonator on a 320d E90 so quite convenient. I'm yet to find a way of hard wiring it but the remote has been reliable from within the car with the receiver in the engine bay.
