for the dearfoam slippers how does the sizing work? what size falls under size 9 - is it large or xl?

What size would fit 8-8.5?

I wear a 9. I just had to return a size large 9/10 that was too small. Can I be sure a large will be the right size?

Do these slippers have good memory foam? I really need the cushion. Thanks!
