This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is protect your projector. It seems sturdy and up to the task. HOWEVER, you need to remember that if you're running a short-throw projector, and this thing is right in front of you, you'd better have some protection for your ceiling. I don't know about you, but every once in a while, I might blade one--a 10 degree launch angle hitting a 45 degree ramp shoots almost straight up. After a couple of ceiling dents, I ordered a ceiling mount to solve the problem.BTW, I also felt like the box was a bit of a distraction right in front of me. Like I said, though, I think it is good at doing what it was designed to do.

My friends have hit this box several times already and my projector remained completely unharmed. My Optoma projector fits very well. Great box if you aren’t willing to make your own like me!

Working with high school and junior golfers this product gets hit a number of times and it is starting to crack and break. Have only had it for 3 months and it may not last much longer. For the cost it should hold up better than 3-4 months of use.
