Technical,Detailed,Could have been more attractive looking,Not sure coffee table book,Can be a good reference book.

Excellent book with beautiful photographs of textiles, traditional clothing, decorative items such as door hanging. Although this book has been expanded, many of the photographs were the same as the book Indian Textiles by the same author. Some of the same photos were actually smaller, and for me less impressive. The information was more extensive. I preferred his first book.

This is a fantastic book on the subject, with beautiful photographs and detailed information about each region of the Indian sub continent and the textiles from each. Obviously quite a big book too, so plenty to keep anyone busy, from people studying textiles or those with a casual interest.

インディアン刺繍に興味を持ったので購入しました。英語はほとんど読んでいませんが、掲載されているテキスタイルの写真がとにかく美しい。私にとって大切な大切な永久保存版です。
