I love this thing. You stick the small metal adapter into the charging hole on your phone, and leave it there. There is no reason to remove it, so it doesn't wear it out by plugging in and out over time.The cord has a great magnet that sticks very strongly. If you pull on it, yeah, it's going to come off. But if you are using your phone normally while it is charging, it will stay put. It is nice that it has a swivel as well. So if you are using your phone while it is plugged in, it doesn't bend the cord and mess it up. It simple pivots and stays put. I will say, I originally ordered a 6 foot version, and got this 3 ft one as a spare. The 6 ft has stopped fast charging after about a month of daily use. It is starting to take 5-6 hours for a full charge, while it used to charge in about 2. Not sure if it is just the one I got, or this is how it is for them all. But overall, I am loving these. Such a cool design, definitely recommend.

I initially purchased one of these just to try them out. After the initial run through, I've purchased about 6 of these now. However, after having had them for a few months, here are the issues I ran into.1. They stop charging. I am not sure what happens but they just refuse to stay connect to charge. No matter what charger I use, it no longer works.2. The center conductor falls off, and then it will no longer charge either. So two of them had the center conductor fall off, and since there is no contact with the transfers portion of the cable, it will not charge either.3. If you are using this on your phone or tablet that has a case with it, it is very difficult to remove the adapter that connects the charging port to the cable. You have to remove the case, and then try to pry off the adapter. I wound up scratching my new phone trying to pry it off because the cable no longer worked.4. This is power only and does not pass data. Therefore, if you want to use this to transfer files; it will not work.Out of the 6 that I have, I have now thrown away 4 of them so far. I am down to do, and will NEVER buy these again. It's just a fancy gimmick that isn't durable nor practical in real-world applications.

From the second you remove it from the package, you know you were holding a quality product. I purchased another magnetic connection brand of cable and spent a whopping $18 to get five cables and the appropriate number of magnetic tips. Within 40 days the magnetic tips began to break, and now three out of the five cables have completely failed. To that manufacturers credit, They did a full refund. I was reluctant to try this brand because of the cost differential, but I can clearly see now that that was me being Pennywise and pound foolish. I already own a headphone by this company and was impressed by the quality, so that’s why I bought the cables. I like everything about how they work except I do wish they had a small LED in the Magnetic end of the cable which makes it very easy to see and connect to your devices in the dark. However, there is an LED to let you find the end of the cable and that’s a big plus, the rest you can do by feel even under adverse conditions like rattling Around in a car.

Overall I like this product a lot. I like it so much that I've bought 3, well technically 4. I say 4 because 1 of the 3 I purchased came to me defective. The magnetic connector on the end of the cord on one was not attached. When I pulled the magnetic connector that goes into your device off the part that it connects to that is supposed to be attached to the cable came off with it. This required me to deal with returning the defective one and getting a replacement shipped. The new one worked perfectly as do the other 2 that I bought.Pros:- Works well.- Charges well (hint, if you want it to fast charge, you need a USB source that has a reasonable amount of power).- Attaches quickly- Love the Rotating featureCons:- Poor quality control (25% defect rate in my case is unacceptably high)- Magnet could be a bit stronger. It does dislodge somewhat easily.- Would be nice if it came with more tips.Suggestions to other users:- Rather than pulling out the connector from your device, get enough connectors that you can leave them in the device.
