TRIOCOTTAGE 12 Clear Egg Hatching Incubator with Automatic Egg Turning and Auto Water Replenishment for Chicken Eggs and Quail Egg

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered this incubator last minute to hatch eggs from a hen that I had lost by predator. I have used it twice so far. The first hatched 3 out of 8 and the second hatched 1 out of 12. I do not blame the incubator for the low hatch rates however. On the first hatch there were eggs that ended up not being fertile and on the second hatch they were almost 3 week old eggs before I was finally able to get them set. Only 3 of those 12 eggs ended up being viable.As far as incubator quality...it feels sturdy, and appears like it will hold up to use. It is extremely easy to set up, operate and clean afterwards, which makes it nice for in home use. It's small enough to easily set on a kitchen counter and not be in the way.Some things to consider before purchasing:The temperature stayed consistent although it ran slightly lower than the set temp. You may want to increase the set temp slightly to get your desired range. You'll want to add a hygrometer/thermometer inside the incubator to keep an eye on those numbers. I found the humidity to be the most challenging issue with this incubator. The water bottle while it does deliver water to the incubator, I found to be difficult to adjust and it kept the humidity higher than necessary (around 80%). In the future I would dry hatch instead or just manually add water as needed through the tube.I have had zero issues with the automatic turner with the chicken eggs. I saw several negative comments in the reviews about the turner but I never personally experienced any issues. As long as the lid was secured correctly the turner has worked. It's easy to do a test turn to make sure it's working if you're not sure.Overall I am pleased with this unit and will update once I have run a dry hatch through it. Would love for it to be able to hold more than 12 chicken eggs but so far it has done it's job with the eggs that were viable.

It started smoking at first now I'm almost 21 days in and nothing is happening heat don't stay like it sould and humidity is hard to keep right as well I did 6 eggs and nothing happened

This is an amazing incubator for small homestead. Amazing quality for the price. We have hatched 2 clutches with a 95% hatch rate of those eggs that were fertile. The space inside is limited, so I do recommend having a brooder ready as chicks left inside trample those still hatching. I also would recommend watching the humidity. The refill bottle drains quickly if ambient humidity is low, and the feed tube can clog with air bubbles after refills, so pay attention to that. Otherwise, very easy, and sturdy.

Great first hatch, 9 out of 12 of my Polish chicks hatched. Automatic turner works really well and the temperature gauge is accurate. My only complaints are that it's hard to keep the humidity at the right level, you can't adjust how much or little water is added and there is no humidity gauge with this incubator so I had to buy a small one to stick in, which was fine as it also confirmed that the temperature gauge was accurate. As the babies are hatching I also found that they were quite cramped, 9 babies completely filled this little incubator and were knocking eggs all over. Again, I still had a great hatch with 9/12 so I'm happy with the incubator. Especially for the price. Wound definitely recommend.

I've incubated ducks and chicks three times so far with zero issues. Just keep in mind when incubating duck eggs, the self rotate might not work as well and you'll need to rotate manually since my eggs were large and I decided to stuff the incubator full. lol (I had nine instead of the recommended amount)I highly recommend this product :)
