Burns out from UK Outlets.
Broke immediately. It's the US version, so not rated for use with our 50Hz 240V standard outlets. My assumption is the thermal cutoff was immediately burnt out.I hear this is a great fan in the US, I just don't understand why it's being sold here totally unaltered.

Fan stopped working in the first 30 minutes
I had bought a zippi fan 3 years ago and it was excellent. This one looked quite different and was very noisy. It stopped working completely in the first 30 minutes. Came with US plug

Doesn't work, can't return.
Bought 2, neither worked when they arrived. Tried to return, but refused to supply commercial invoice for international return, so stuck with two dead fans.
