My favourite tea for years. Consistently great.
This is my favourite tea - I’ve been drinking it for years and nothing else quite hits the spot for me like Clipper Organic... I recommend it highly!I’m not usually one to post reviews on Amazon, but as I am so doing about the wonderful tea, I thought I may as well add some wise words by George Orwell, that my wife found, on the subject of proper tea making.“If you look up ‘tea’ in the first cookery book that comes to hand you will probably find that it is unmentioned; or at most you will find a few lines of sketchy instructions which give no ruling on several ofthe most important points.“This is curious, not only because tea is one of the main stays ofcivilization in this country, as well as in Eire, Australia and New Zealand, but because the best manner of making it is the subject ofviolent disputes. When I look through my own recipe for the perfect cup of tea, I findno fewer than eleven outstanding points. On perhaps two of them there would be pretty general agreement, but at least four others areacutely controversial. Here are my own eleven rules, every one ofwhich I regard as golden:“First of all, one should use Indian or Ceylonese tea. China teahas virtues which are not to be despised nowadays — it is economical, and one can drink it without milk — but there is not much stimulation in it. One does not feel wiser, braver or more optimistic after drinking it. Anyone who has used that comforting phrase ‘a nice cup oftea’ invariably means Indian tea.“Secondly, tea should be made in small quantities — that is, in a teapot. Tea out of an urn is always tasteless, while army tea, made ina cauldron, tastes of grease and whitewash. The teapot should be madeof china or earthenware. Silver or Britanniaware teapots produceinferior tea and enamel pots are worse; though curiously enough apewter teapot (a rarity nowadays) is not so bad.“Thirdly, the pot should be warmed beforehand. This is better done by placing it on the hob than by the usual method of swilling it outwith hot water.“Fourthly, the tea should be strong. For a pot holding a quart, ifyou are going to fill it nearly to the brim, six heaped teaspoonswould be about right. In a time of rationing, this is not an idea thatcan be realized on every day of the week, but I maintain that onestrong cup of tea is better than twenty weak ones. All true tea loversnot only like their tea strong, but like it a little stronger witheach year that passes — a fact which is recognized in the extra rationissued to old-age pensioners.“Fifthly, the tea should be put straight into the pot. No strainers, muslin bags or other devices to imprison the tea. In some countries teapots are fitted with little dangling baskets under the spout to catch the stray leaves, which are supposed to be harmful. Actually one can swallow tea-leaves in considerable quantities without ill effect, and if the tea is not loose in the potit never infuses properly.“Sixthly, one should take the teapot to the kettle and not the other way about. The water should be actually boiling at the moment of impact, which means that one should keep it on the flame while one pours. Some people add that one should only use water that has been freshly brought to the boil, but I have never noticed that it makes any difference.“Seventhly, after making the tea, one should stir it, or better, give the pot a good shake, afterwards allowing the leaves to settle.“Eighthly, one should drink out of a good breakfast cup — that is,the cylindrical type of cup, not the flat, shallow type. The breakfastcup holds more, and with the other kind one’s tea is always half coldbefore one has well started on it.“Ninthly, one should pour the cream off the milk before using itfor tea. Milk that is too creamy always gives tea a sickly taste. Tenthly, one should pour tea into the cup first. This is one ofthe most controversial points of all; indeed in every family inBritain there are probably two schools of thought on the subject. The milk-first school can bring forward some fairly strong arguments, butI maintain that my own argument is unanswerable. This is that, by putting the tea in first and stirring as one pours, one can exactlyregulate the amount of milk whereas one is liable to put in too muchmilk if one does it the other way round.“Lastly, tea — unless one is drinking it in the Russian style — should be drunk without sugar. I know very well that I am in aminority here. But still, how can you call yourself a true tea-lover ifyou destroy the flavour of your tea by putting sugar in it? It wouldbe equally reasonable to put in pepper or salt. Tea is meant to bebitter, just as beer is meant to be bitter. If you sweeten it, you areno longer tasting the tea, you are merely tasting the sugar; you couldmake a very similar drink by dissolving sugar in plain hot water.”

Good price, quick delivery, well packaged - Taste great
Always buy these teabags in bulk for my other half (for the last few years she will not contemplate any other teabag) - they are a staple in our household & we never run out (as that would be considered a crisis !). They are organic & unbleached and the tea tastes lovely. I always buy in bulk when the price dips little which makes them very good value for money too !! I would say try them if you haven't yet - I bet you would be pleasantly surprised. Not a fancy tea, but for a day to day tea they are pretty flippin good !

I am a serious tea-aholic and these are possibly the best tea bags available on the market today.
These tea bags have lots of credentials supporting 'organic', 'biodegradable' and 'fairtrade' but they also taste fabulous. Strong, slightly malty flavour. The teabags are a brown colour (unbleached) and the tea is a wonderful strong red/brown colour.Let's just say, I'm a big fan.

Tea Bags
Best tea on the market, good value from Amazon, only complaint is that they were advertised as 100 in a box, when i checked i found that of the 6 box`s only 3 had 100 in with the rest having only 80 thats a shortage of 60 Tea Bags, hopefully someone will read this and take note. Its a shame that the delivery isn`t as good as the TEA, Delivery companies have a could not care less attitude as long as they dont have to return its OK, my son even had a parcel thrown over the gate while he was hanging out his washing, delivery company 0/10

I love this tea
This tea has a lovely flavour, and we have been using it for years. Other teas are bland in comparison. I particularly like that there is no plastic in the tea bags; unfortunately there still is, in the packaging, and I hope the manufacturer will address this soon. The price I paid was cheaper than current supermarket prices.

Excellen organic product
To buy an organic product which satisfies all the criteria, tastes wonderful and is well priced is fantastic. It can't be beaten. I particularly like the unbleached bags. Clipper have been way ahead of their time on this. Other firms have now been criticised for the composition of tea bags - particularly those with plastic in. Clipper have led the way in providing a pure excellent product. I wouldn't buy anything else. Thank you for my morning cuppa and the knowledge that workers are being treated fairly!

Too strong for me and sadly cannot return
Who’d have thought that Clipper Organic everyday tea would give me PTSD.Ordered these thinking that they were the green tea which is what I was searching for on Amazon. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to return as I had opened a box and made a cup.The only thing that is green about this is the box.The description is that it has a robust flavour.I would state that robust is an understatement.I followed the instructions of letting it sit for 2-4 minutes before I tried it. The result? I’m pretty sure my soul left my body and landed somewhere in purgatory.Tried making it again for 90 seconds and lost my sense of taste.Third attempt was for 30 seconds and that was too weak. Airplane weak.45 seconds made it approaching something drinkable. In all, I would say that one (yes one) teabag would easily make 10 cups of tea. Or maybe add lots of sugar and lemons to make iced tea.You need an extremely strong constitution to drink this stuff, which I thought I had, but apparently not.Good luck and god speed if you decide you want to try this.

Excellent everyday tea, recomend.
This is another great tea from Clipper and if you bulk buy also a good value product, have tried all of there main teas and love them all. Getting these in 600 T Bags through amazon is the best deal.

The product exactly matches the description. Very satisfied with my purchase.
How to make a perfect cup of black tea: Always use fresh water, pour it over the tea bag while it's still boiling and allow infuse for 3-5 minutes strong brew, or 1-3 lighter taste.
