Five years on, still happy
I was wondering how long I’d had these so checked my Amazon orders and it's bang on five years. These were a great decision, financially and environmentally. They are still looking, feeling and smelling good five years on after use on every cycle. My only warning would be that depending on your underwear they can move a bit but this has only been noticeable for me when I take my dogs out for an hour or so - during those times I wear the wonderful, but expensive, wuka pants.

Really impressed!!
I must admit I was a little dubious when these were recommended to me by a friend, but this is the second cycle I’ve used them & I’m very impressed! I was worried they’d feel bulky when I first got them out of the bag but they are unbelievably soft against your delicate area and actually feel really secure. Some people have said they move because they don’t stick into place like a disposable pad but I actually prefer that as sometimes I used to stick them in the wrong place depending on what underwear I’m wearing and then I would leak at the front or back, very annoying! As these just popper around the centre of your gusset, I can easily pull the pad forward or backwards when pulling up my knickers to get them in just the right place! And I don’t find they move about whilst I wear them, I even did a workout in one yesterday! The waterproof layer covers the entire pad as well, so no areas are subject to leaks. They also absorb really well - I have 2 days when I am so heavy I needed a nighttime towel with a super tampon and still it would leak, especially overnight. However, last night I used the largest washable pad with a super tampon & although the tampon was full, the pad coped with all the excess without leaking - there was a lot when I washed it out! I can’t tell you how nice it is not to deal with the mess I’d have with the disposable pads! Washing them is also no as bad as I thought. I have a small en-suite where I can reach the sink whilst sitting on the loo so I rinse it in cold water & then let it soak whilst putting on a clean pad. Then I rinse the pad, squeezing it out in cold running water before filling the sink with warm water and a splash of washing liquid (I keep a spare bottle in the en-suite now!). Giving it a good slosh and squeeze in the soapy water (rubbing together the middle part to get rid of any stains) I then rinse, wring it out (you can be as rough as you like) and hang it on my heated radiator. Doing this ensures I have a dry one ready each time 😊 Obviously, this is all very easy when I have my period at home, when I’m at work I wouldn’t be able to rinse & wash as it’s a shared bathroom! 😆 But I may experiment with folding it up & putting it in the bag provided until I get home & see how that works. However, if I have to use disposables on the odd day that I happen to be in work when I have my period (I work part time), then I still think using these are worth it as I’d still be decreasing the amount I put in landfill. Lastly, the amount of money I’ve already saved not buying disposable pads has already covered the cost of these!

Mildly impressed
I’ve had those pads for 1.5 years along with some period pants and other pads. I like the thin ones to replace disposable panty liners but I’m only mildly impressed by the other thicker pads. One of the big issues I have with the thicker ones is that all layers are sewn together in the shape of a pad which means fluid leaks out from the seams. So you have to replace the pads more often than others or disposable ones. The quality is also not as good and I might need to replace them sooner than the other ones I have. The plastic material where they fold is not pleasant and can cause moisture where they rub against the skin.To summarise they’re not the ones I go for first. They’re the ones I use when I’ve run out of the better ones.

These are amazing and highly recommend!
I wanted to try reusable sanitary pads/towels because I was sick of a) the amount of waste from ordinary shop-bought towels which is not good for the environment and b) the amount of money I ended up paying each month for the towels. Also I'd heard that sometimes the shop-bought ones have chemicals which make us ladies bleed out more, meaning we then have to buy more towels. Grrrr. Really not good. So....This pack of 10 is amazing value for money. It comes with x4 small pads (perfect for every day discharge or very light periods), x3 medium/long day pads which are perfect for medium to heavy periods in the day time, and x 3 extra long/thick pads for heavy flow at night. The pack also includes a medium wet bag which is roomy enough to put quite a few spare towels, but also not overly big (I have tried some other companies wet bags and they are just too ridiculously large and cumbersome but this is perfect). All the towels/pads are all made with very good quality and nice looking fabric. The bamboo is very soft to your "delicate" bits, and the outside material seems to be wipe-clean and waterproof, whilst also having a nice design. The popper is strong but not intrusive.I must say that washing the pads/towels is easy as pie. I just rinse in cold water first until it runs clear and I tend to then soak them in warm water in a little bucket with non bio detergent and leave for a while, and they come out lovely and clean and fresh. Sometimes I put them in the washing machine and they wash well like this too. I then hang to dry either on our airer (using clothes pegs on a hanger), or inside our airing cupboard where it's nice and warm. They dry within a 2-3 hours I would say and they are then like new and ready to use.I find these so comfortable to wear but also I love the fact that I barely have to change them, despite having heavy periods. When I used to use shop brands, I would have to change my pads up between 10-15 times a day, minimum, but with these reusable ones, I only have to use TWO in the day and ONE at night! It's AMAZING! I have heard that in shop bought pads, sometimes there is a chemical in the pad which actually makes you bleed out more and for longer, meaning you buy more of their pads. A horrible thought I know and highly unethical, but I'm beginning to think that the rumour is true :-( So now I have found these reusable pads, I won't look back now.I really do recommend you try them - I doubt you will be disappointed and in fact, you will probably love them like I do!Thanks for an amazing product! It really has changed my life for the better and I'm so grateful :-)
