Does what it says it does
I tested this Tenon Paver Wash on 3 different problem areas. Since I don't have any pavers that needed cleaning, I instead did my testing on my concrete driveway and the pool patio surface. As per the directions, the first thing I did was to wet all 3 surfaces before applying the cleaner. My first trial was on a rust spot on the driveway. The directions say to use a sprayer or sprinkling can, but since I was doing a small test area I just splashed a small amount on it and used a bristle scrub brush to work up a lather. I let it sit for a maximum of 3 minutes because the sun was beginning to dry the area, and then rinsed thoroughly with water and the rust had been eliminated.Next I tried it on a spot where I had accidentally got spray wax on the driveway. Note: this product is not made to eliminate waxes and oils. They have other products for that. None-the-less, I wanted to see what would happen. Following the same procedure I found it did remove the wax, but oddly enough, it appeared to etch the concrete more where the wax was than the surrounding area. I will order the correct product for that project in the future. My third test, and the main reason I ordered this product, was to try to remove efflorescence from the "cool deck" surface of my pool patio. It has a coating of deck paint over textured concrete, and I wasn't sure how this chemical would react to the paint. So I applied the Tenon Paver Wash in a small 14" circle area and only left it on for 1 minute before rinsing. It did remove the efflorescent bleeding and did not damage the paint. Before and after pics did not show up well on this test, although I did include a photo of the patio deck for reference. This should work even better on pavers than my applications, being that pavers are more durable.
