SpaceX: Elon Musk and the Final Frontier Hardcover – June 4, 2024

I was drawn into this spacex book more than I anticipated. It’s a beautifully done display! Even at first glance, I learned more than I expected about musk, spacex and the amazing future…

The "SpaceX" label is embossed on the front, the rest of the cover is printed. Inside, it isn't just about SpaceX or Elon Musk, it discusses the state of the world pre and post 2020 pandemic and the impact of the close of the Cold War on space related activities, as well as other issues (like the 2008 mortgage crash) and retiring the Space Shuttle. It has a brief bio of Musk then gets into his different companies and the timeline, and development of SpaceX's amazing hardware. The pictures throughout are stunning. Some, like the Mercury 7, I've seen many times, but not as a full page high quality print in a hardcover book. Once I started reading it was tough to stop since it went over in some detail news events I'd witnessed live. With the good descriptions and excellent photos it is almost like watching a documentary. Very happy I'd gone ahead and ordered this book.

This is a fun book that isn't just about Musk and his space company it goes into history and other space related things which is nice and refreshing. While it does focus on Musk and his company it isn't a bad read and the photos inside are really good and fun to look due to their quality. This is just perfect to set on a table or even in a bathroom for a read and skim through off and on just to pass time. I plan to gift this to a friend who does a lot of space stuff.

I like table books, and books in general. I got the hardcover edition. We've moved to all these digital renditions of book and I just like the feel and smell of books. That being said, this was a curious buy. It's not as big as a coffee table book usually is, but an eye catcher nonetheless.It covers the origins of Space X from early years and Elon Musk's journey. Has many photos of early spacecraft to his current spaceship. Speaks about Jeff Bezos Blue Origin and the future of space travel.Haven't been through all of it, just perused the photos and some of the topics, but it will be something to add to my collection... I am a space, science fiction fan anyway...Currently priced at $26.16 for the hardcover edition, and there is a Kindle version for $19.99, overall something to look at.

As someone who grew up, fascinated by space and flying machines, I was really looking forward to reading this book and checking the photography and details of the Space-X crafts. This book blew me away. As someone who began drawing B-25 Mitchells from WWII diagrams and maintenance manuals, this was a welcome addition to my book collection.Mr. Bergan has done an excellent job in delivering a wonderful book that is not a slobbering, over emblazing nod to Mr. Musk but has created a well-written and detailed account of the creation and evolution of what will most likely be seen in history as the driving force for space travel by the human race. Think Zefram Cochrane.The photography is beautiful, the pages are high-quality, the print is excellent. The cover is nicely done. The writing, details, and research is wonderful. Good job, Mr. Bergan.HIGH RECOMMENDED for any space travel fan.

This was a volume I was really looking forward to seeing and reading. It does not disappoint.I really like who the author puts the whole Space X saga and space into perspective. Although the book is about Space X, there is discussion off other programs including the Beezos Blue Origin so this isn't just a fanboy account. Rather this is an encompassing book which covers the vision, the hardware (including other programs) and the potential payoff for going to the Moon and/or Mars and include what is possibleLots of excellent pictures of past missions, current hardware and successful missions and plant of artist renderings. Having just watched a good portion of the Apple TV series For All Mankind, it really is moving from fiction to science fact. This is capturing something very exciting.Very enjoyable and a book I continue to look through and read. Highly recommended for space geeks, and I can't imagine a better gift for that teenager interested in this subject. Definitely an inspiring volume. Very well done.

I really enjoyed this! There is more to Elon Musk than I thought. The book starts out with the space program, then introduces Elon, his upbringing, and his many pursuits, before going into thorough detail of his involvement in the space industry, which is the large majority of the book. The photography is especially wonderful!

My husband and sons love all things space related. Every Lauch is watched and discussed in length. So, when I saw this book, I immediately grabbed it. The pictures inside are just phenomenal! There is so much information that comes in this book too, so it really is more than just a pretty coffee table book. I have not been able to read it all yet because it quickly disappeared into my son's room, and he has yet to give it up. It is an absolute hit in this household!
