I managed to damage my keyboard whilst trying to clean it and Apple charged me a fortune to repair it, so I thought it was time I invested in one of these. It fits the keyboard very well (the reviewers who have commented that it doesn't fit their keyboard must have bought the wrong version for their laptop - always double check which model you have!) and it grips the keys so that your keyboard is well protected. It's so much more easier simply being able to simply wash the cover rather than cleaning the keyboard itself.There are a few very minor issues that people should be aware of. 1) Having the cover on means your keyboard backlight isn't as effective. 2) There are a few minor mistakes i.e. a hashtag where the pound sign should be, but this shouldn't be a problem for anyone who knows a Mac keyboard well. It takes time getting used to the rubber feel when typing, but I've become so accustomed to it now that it feels weird typing when I take the cover off!

The product came quickly and was easy to put on. However typing is now a little stuff and feel different, but it is not unbearable and I prefer it over have an unprotected keyboard as I have a tendency to eat around my laptop and thus it ges covered in crumbs. I am just learning to type quickly on it again and I am slowly getting there, you have to hit the keys a little bit hard that is all :).The keys all fit perfectly and there is only one picture on the F4 key that is actually different to what it is on the mac (the launchpad key). It is easy to take off and on as well wash :).

I've purchased several of these to protect the keys of my Mac which are overused and show signs of deterioration quite quickly. They fit well, are available in lots of bright colours and certainly 'do the job' ... they just feel a little odd if you're used to a clean, crisp keyboard especially as a touch typist but on the other hand, you get used to them within a matter of days/weeks. Not perfect (they slow you down a touch) but with everything considered, a worthwhile purchase if you're not overly bothered about top speeds at all times!

I was surprisingly impressed with this product and it's price. In comparison to other keyboard protectors that i have tried in the past, I have found this to be great value for money. It does not feel cheap at all and fits on my keyboard perfectly and snugly. I have been using it solidly for over a year and there are no signs of wear and tear, fading, etc. It looks and feels exactly like new.It takes a bit of getting used to when you first place it on the keyboard as it feels a little odd. My only tiny quip with it is that one of the key labels on the protector doesn't match the corresponding key on the keyboard (but this does not affect its functionality).

I went for this particular brand because it was cheap it does keep the dust out however if you have a macbook you have to take it out when close the screen because it will leave smudges on the screen and it doesn't let that much light though like others i've seen on the keyboard finished by the annoying brand logo on the spacebar which is really detracting. considering I could afford a macbook i should be able to afford a decent keyboard cover.

This was bought as a gift - hopefully lowering the likelihood of either irreparable or expensive repairs to a MacBook, both of which have happened! It matches the colour of the existing keyboard perfectly, and was easy to fit. This should also help protect the screen from any minor scratches caused by travelling; it's on the way to southern Africa in the next week or so.A happy recipient and happy purchaser - what more needs saying?

No matter what keyboard protector you buy it is going to feel a bit odd in comparison with using the original keys. After using it and it settles into the rebate I think I will get used to it. I can put up with it if its going to avoid getting any tea and ginger biscuit crumbs that may get spilled under the keys when frantically typing my dissertation!!!I did need to make some alterations along the top of the function keys where it hang over the top and didn't fit into the rebate too well. With a slight alteration with a Stanley blade and a cutting board we were ready to go.It would be easy to be negative about this product with regards to how weird it feel when typing but I will get used to it if its going to protect my macbook.

I purchased this cover because I have long fingernails and the sound of my typing was disturbing my colleagues. It solved this problem effectively. It fit the keyboard perfectly. It is not attached so it is easy to move from one keyboard to another. It looks great. The only thing to note is that it is not 100% opaque, so the characters on the actual keyboard show through the cover, causing a weird shadow effect, which can be a good thing if you have a different keyboard layout than what is printed on the cover, to still see the location of special characters when necessary.
