It Is What It Is
This has some definite uses, but it also has some limitations especially considering how it was advertised. First off, I wouldn't depend on this as my only means of security if you're going to set this up to protect your home against intruders. It works okay, but I wouldn't stake my family on its reliability. Mainly because it is an inexpensive item and, as such, it is cheaply made. It can also be easily defeated if set up and depended on for home security. Plus, it doesn't seem very durable. I initially thought about putting in on my mailbox post and aiming it at the house so the front yard and porch area would be covered. However, in that situation, it would be exposed to the elements. Living in central Indiana in the winter can be mix of weather and most of it is rather extreme so I believe it would be trash in a few days in heavy rain or extreme cold. As such, if you're going to install it outside for any purpose, make sure it's covered and protected as best you can.As a door chime, it seems to work just fine. It's not great, but given its price point, I like it a lot better than those magnetic stick ons that chime when the magnetic field is broken by an opened door. The range seems respectable for a door chime and the volume can be set loudly enough to be heard in most retail spaces. Again, it's a budget item so manage your expectations and you will probably be satisfied.

Effective alarm, but could get annoying. Good animal deterrent.
This motion sensor alarm is VERY loud and obnoxious. I can see this being great for specific uses to grab attention but not so much with eldercare. There is a woman's voice that says something indiscernible. It must be another language or just a bad recording. All of the melodies are jarring and not necessarily good for a relaxing environment. All that being said, the motion sensor works great and sends out a strong alarm sound. The remote device sounds an alarm fairly quickly thereafter.I actually found it useful in keeping our cat off of my desk. She's been tearing up my desk and chewing on cords. So I set this alarm on my desk one night and that's all it took. She jumped up onto the desk, the alarm sounded, and she wanted nothing more to do with it. :-)

Inexpensive and gets the job done
For the price I'm satisfied with this device. When the motion sensor is triggered there's a voice that sounds like it says something in Chinese and it rings the receiver also. I wouldn't use this in place of a home security system, but it is good for alerting you when an elderly parent or a child is doing something they aren't supposed to.

Good motion sensor with remote, but confusing to setup.
Main point it works to monitor elderly over night, while in another room.Pros:1. Motion sensor with remote receiver that help to monitor elderly from another room, it works reliably well2. Works in multi room, under 100 ft distance3. 2 level of motion detection proximity wiseCons:1. I wasn't able to find how to set motion sensor in silent mode, it comes with 4 volume levels, but no option to be silent2. very confusing to select on motion sensor volume tone, it also doesn't preserve the selection.3. there is no vibration mode in receiver, the vibration mode is a must for many cases4. I'm not sure about 400ft distance claim, on practice it works till the next building, and isn't working behind any buildings

Lightweight! Working great! Belt clip! Melodies that are not 'startling' if using for patient care!
With the "Motion Sensor Bed Alarms and Fall Prevention for Elderly Motion Detector 490Ft Wireless Door chime" no one is going to be sneaking into my garage without my knowledge. And they will obviously know that I am aware. I was surprised at how lightweight the unit is compared to others I have. I don't think it's quite as sturdy but it does the job and has some fun sounds. I was grinning while installing it imaging the person walking into the garage encountering the melody and then hearing the matching melody coming from the house. Nice! While I am not using this as a bed alarm I like that it has the various melodies so as not to jar or startle the person you are trying to keep track of. To them it would simply be music or melodies and not a blaring alarm that's going to scare or worry them. The receiver could be a little louder but it has a belt clip on it so you can wear it on your shirt or pants if need be. I also noticed that it is louder when the motion sensor is activated than if you just push the volume button on the receiver. The unit came with all batteries needed so I was able to start using it right away. The motion sensor also has the option to be used with a USB cord (not included). Overall, I am pleased with the unit and it has many uses.

Door opening no longer a problem
I have a situation where my side gate is opened and left that way all night. This sensor put an end to that issue. Setup was simple and when the gate is opened , the speaker in the house enunciates and lets me know. This is a versatile system that also can be used for many other applications from monitoring kids and the elderly to knowing when your mailman left mail.

Good wireless doorbell with minimal installation.
It is not as loud as I would have liked but otherwise it is an easy product to install and use.

Cheap Construction, No Silent For Motion Sensor, Would Not Withstand Weather As Driveway Alarm
First, right out of the box, the cover for the belt clip unit battery cover would not stay on.Then I had to go back to the item description to be sure this was, in fact, advertised as being good for a driveway alarm. It was and I don't agree unless maybe you have a covered driveway and even then would not last over time.I've tried to understand not having a silent mode on the motion sensor. Maybe when I was sleepwalking a lot to alert myself? With the remote unit I can see no logical reason but rather a problem. If someone walks up my drive at night I don't want to alert them that I have it, I want it to alert me.Looking back at the description again I guess it would be okay for a business entry but I can only assume the English voice setting is "Hello, Welcome" as the only spoken word I can understand is "Hello" but there are much better options. The driveway alarm I've had for 8 years or so is much better quality, does the same job, and is still cheaper.I didn't test for distance between remote and motion sensor as I had already determined this was not a very good product. The motion sensor does work though and the chime adjustments for volume and tune selections are much more pleasant than my old one.
