We used ours on a bookshelf. Easy to follow instructions and fast installation. We did have one screw strip on us but it’s really in there. It delivered faster than expected which is always a bonus. I’m really glad I bought this product and I would buy it again. Also love the metal brackets, it makes me feel more peace of mind with my kids playing around near it.

I got this to secure my HDTV in case of earthquake. The strap is built with good quality nylon but this doesn't work with my current setting at home. I need to return it and get what I need

These are very easy to install and the price was very reasonable. The correct screws came with it to fit the holes on my TV and the straps seem to be well made. There is a squeeze clamp that holds the strap in place once you have adjusted it to the correct length. You can also use the clamp to release the strap if you need to move the TV in the future. The only negative thing I have to say is that there should be better or bigger screws for the end that installs on the wall or furniture. The screws that came with it may be ok for the TV stand or furniture but are too thin to secured the TV to the wall.I ended up buying better screws at the hardware store.

Easy to install and the straps are sturdy, but DO NOT use the cheap aluminum screws that come with it. One stripped out while I was running it into the pilot hole and a second one snapped the head clear off. Then I got other screws out of my tool kit.If the screws fall apart while installing, I would have concerns about them holding any weight if they have to restrain a piece of furniture or a TV.

Love how they packaged this and i feel better knowing my son wont get hurt by the tv. Every 45 mins in the US there is a child in the ER from having a tv falling on them. Wont be mine...thank u!

Why is it so hard to buy products like this on Amazon? Seems like these are all designed by high school students in 3rd world countries. Especially considering this is supposed to help avoid serious injury to children and babies, it would be nice to be confident in what is ordered. After searching for 1-2 pages and not finding a product by a legitimate compay, I settled on this one to secure a tall bookshelf against the wall. As stated in other reviews, hardware is low quality. Maybe this is good for a TV, but not for furniture.Instructions are terrible. For example ,they call for installing 2 1/2" screws. Screw sizes provided according to the instructions are 1.57" and 0.98". They also call for drilling pilot holes but no suggested drill bit size. After installing the straps in the suggested manner, it's nearly impossible to tighten them. No idea how I'm ever going to remove them without just ripping the bookshelf away from the wall.Long story short, buy for TV, skip for furniture. Save yourself the hassle, spend a few more bucks and get something at a reputable store like Home Depot.

High quality straps. Metal brackets with thick nylon straps. The kit came with many various sizes of screws and bolts, but not the right sizes to install the straps on a wall and a dresser. Instructions said to use the 2” screws to attach one side to the wall....but the kit didn’t include 2” screws. And the screws that did come with the kit had screw heads that were too small for the bracket. I ended up using my own screws and washers

I purchased these for my new TV and stand. I have grandkids, I thought just a little added security. Probably wouldn't have needed them, but for less than $10, it's a no brainer. Built well and easy to fit to TV or furniture.
