Paper works perfectly in the Poynt terminal and yes, it actually does fit in that tiny little compartment. We have had no trouble with the legibility so far or any other problems - does what it is supposed to do. The best part is the additional length over the 16' roll - the less I have to open that little tiny paper compartment door, the happier I am. It's also a little cheaper here on Amazon (especially if you have Prime free shipping) than the bank's recommended vendor.
