Complicated, lots of rules that are still somehow incomplete
First of all, I got this because it says it's good for 2 players in the listing, but in the instructions says it's really best for 4-8 players. I have an issue with this because we play a card/board game or two almost daily in my house, but it's USUALLY just my son and I to decompress from school. Every couple of weeks we have enough people to play a larger game. I was looking for a 2+ player game, so the listing for this is inaccurate. We were able to play but I wonder if we were missing anything by just having two players. I honestly don't think so.Second of all, the rules are wordy and the game seems overly complicated. And for all the wordiness, the rules still have holes. It says to remove the indicator cards from the deck and never tells you when to put them back in, or under what circumstance. But then later you're supposed to draw them from the deck (that you left them out of). Not sure how that's supposed to work. It also doesn't indicate that if function cards are played between numeral cards, if the current player gets to choose whatever numeral they want, or if they have to kind of leaf back in the pile to see the last numeral and play based on that. Also, the end of a round is solely based on the round being unplayable, but only if the dealer decides it's unplayable, so it varies as to who thinks the round should end or not. It also doesn't really specify how the game ends or how many rounds are played. It just says when all the cards in your hand are played, the game ends. But that's also how a round ends, so what's the difference? My son and I gave this an hour to learn and try to play, and spent most of the time just reading the same instructions over and over, just being sure that we must be missing SOMETHING. After about 45 minutes, my 12yr old sat back in his seat and sighed and said "This game is just terribly disappointing." Like I said, we play a lot of games, and we favor card games especially. This one really tripped us up. It was definitely more work than fun and left me with no desire to try it again. The illustrations on the cards are clear and engaging, so I did tell my son that we could probably take the shell of the rules and fill it in with our own rules and go that route, and make an okay game out of it. I asked him if he wanted to try that, he said "Yeah...but not tonight." We were ready to move on to something more fun for sure. The three stars are because I like that it's just a card deck at a regular card deck size. It's thicker, but not longer/taller. Very easy to store and take along on trips etc. The imagery on the cards is interesting and and another star because they are also a really nice quality. I docked a star because as long as the rules are, they're still not complete, and another because this affects play-ability negatively. I definitely don't recommend this game. I would go as far as to say that as this price point, there is no way under the sun I would personally buy this game for myself, or someone else, or even mention it as an option to someone looking for a card game. That's the truth in a nutshell.I also want to make note, that on their packaging or rules, there's absolutely no re-direction to their website or youtube video for playing or help etc.

good
I love this product! It has been endless fun for me and friends and family have enjoyed it so much that I have ended up having to give or give away my share and twice had to buy new ones. This game is very quick/easy to learn. After about 2 minutes of explanation and a few practice rounds, even a novice at the table can get into it and have fun. If you want to play with more than 8 players, you can combine two decks of cards to play a bigger game. We played with 11 players and had a great time. The game goes fast and you won't get bored with more than a few people. It's a fun game of memory, strategy and luck. The object of the game is to accumulate the most points to use against the unlucky ones among your friends. Each player has multiple turns where they need to draw cards from the deck and play them. If you have a feature card in your hand, you can use it to save your life. Other cards can reverse the situation on the field, force someone to give you a card, skip a turn, or force multiple turns on other players. The game can last 10-30 minutes, depending on the number of players.

Extremely confusing directions
We were hoping to play this as our family does "No tech November" where we remove social media / cut back on screen time. We'll usually pick out some new board / cards games to play as a family. This game has potential I think but it is very difficult to follow what the directions are getting at. I see now that they are planning on releasing a video soon but the product I received is basically unplayable without spending a bunch of extra time trying to make sense of it.I look forward to the video if / when it comes out.

Too complicated for children
I purchased this for a 10 year old. The cards are beautiful and he enjoys looking and reading each card, but the instructions that came with the game are way too complicated for a child to follow along. That being said, we ended up just playing a kind of war/uno game where we just went around in a circle and kind of made up the rules, and he was perfectly happy. So if you child is into these type of cards for the artwork, they might enjoy it. But the game is to difficult to follow along for the rated age of 7+.

Poor Directions
Unfortunately, the directions for how to play this game are not clear to the point where we could not figure out how to play. I had 3 members of my family read the directions, two of whom have college degrees, and we could not make heads or tails of it. I came back to Amazon to view the description and see if it helped, and it did not. The maker of this game really should add a video of how to play somewhere and rewrite the directions to make them more clear.I will say that the cards appear to be of good quality and have nice artwork on them. It looks like it could be a fun game if we just knew how to play.

Uniquely fun!
Got this game for my 7yr old son. Seemed similar to a Japanese card game he's into so I thought I'd give it a shot. Very unique and lots of fun. He has to play with an adult because the cards have lots to read and it's slightly above his level.

Don't waste your time.
While the initial concept seems good the follow through for the game simply did not happen. Directions for play are confusing and incomplete. Save yourself the frustration of trying to figure this game out.
