Q: Hi, how would I go about cleaning the earplugs after wearing them?

Thank you for taking the time to ask the question about keeping your EAR Defense earplugs clean. The earplugs are really easy to clean usually all you need to do is wipe them over with a damp cloth and then let them dry thoroughly before storing them in their case. If they are particularly dirty remove the filters gently setting them aside (do not insert the filters into water) and then wash the plugs with soap and water, dab the excess water off, leave them to air dry and then reinsert the filters before placing the ear plugs in their aluminium carry case.

Q: Can these earplugs be used to block out a snoring husband?

Hi Mary, I am sorry but I appear to have missed your question so I apologize for the late answer. The earplugs were not designed to block out snoring, although reading the reviews I know that some people do use them for this purpose and get good results but the earplugs are filtered and so they do not block out all noise but filter out very loud, damaging noises. The earplugs would probably work for sleeping if you had a really loud snorer in your room but wanted to be able to hear normal sounds for example if the children woke up.Kind regardsElizabeth (EAR Defense)
