Imaginary Landscapes

This is an excellent disc, with only one minor quibble (see below). The sound is great, and there is a real sense of live music-making from this really committed Italian group. The music itself is strange, haunting and completely fresh. One really important bonus: the disc also includes Cage's 'Sixteen Dances', a key work, especially in tracing the Cage-Boulez exchanges of the early 1950s. One quibble: the' Landscapes' are presented in the sequence 1,3,5,2 + 4, with no break between them!
