It works and it seems sturdy

They are a great value. They are small. That’s why I choose them. The surface is rough. I sanded one of the two, which was pretty easy. They both work about the same. I’ve never had any issues with rust even though I wash them with soap but I dry them, put them on the stove for a moment then use a thin cloth to put a very thin coat of coconut oil on them just like I do with all my cast iron pans.If your looking for very small, inexpensive pans to make pancakes or brownies, these are great.

Just like any cast iron cookware, there are certain things you need to do to use and care for this pan. Even though it is "preseasoned" you should wash and season it when you get it. Don't put cold food in a hot pan. Don't rinse a hot pan in anything but very hot water. Next, dry it and heat it back up. Rub it down with oil (I like grape seed oil). Then put it away. Otherwise, iron will rust or crack.

I bought two of these and like the size very much. They are labeled "pre-seasoned" but I use a lot of cast iron for cooking and always season new pieces. The pans arrived gray in color and now they that I've seasoned them they have a nice, dark, shiny surface. I always clean my cast iron with only water after use and give them a light coating of oil on the cooking surface before storing them. This generally keeps the seasoned surface intact for me.

The surface of this pan is so grainy I returned it. Even seasoned, this rough cooking surface was going to be way too sticky and hard to keep clean… It seemed fatally flawed to me…

Very small I thought I was getting a full sized skillet... pay attention to size in description..I wish I had

All the bad reviews are from people who don’t know how to take care of cast iron. It may say preseasoned but you still need to season it before first use and regularly. You can’t just wash and dry. That being said, it’s exactly what I wanted. It’s a good size for making egg sandwiches or a quick small breakfast.

Tuve que aprender a usarlo, no lavarlo con jabón, sólo con agua caliente y una estopa de metal, secarlo de inmediato y curarlo antes del primer uso. Pero ahora no se le pega nada, y es muy práctico para hacer el desayuno.

I bought this pan to cook eggs in a square shape. I took other reviewers’ advice and seasoned myself before cooking. I did one season and the egg stuck. Cleaned, removed rust, seasoned 3 times and the egg still stuck. I threw the pan in the bin, I couldn’t even be bothered to clean it to donate it - why give someone else a waste of time? The texture on the pan is really rough. It might work well for meat? I have a SolidTeknics wrought iron pan and I love it, I guess you get what you pay for… feeling disappointed honestly.
