The clock also serves as a real alarm clock and has a selection of alarms to choose from. Also features optional backlit display. When top button is pressed it announces the current time. variable usefulness
I have now bought three of these items The first one was quite good and is still running alright. The second one I bought was even better than the first as it was quicker and easy to look through the videos produced by movement detection. However that one has now stopped producing videos altogether which I guess might be due to local interference signals. The third one I bought had a different type of remote which did not work with the first two bought. I could never get it working at all . It always showed a blue light whether trying to use it or when charging it. I thought that they were generally getting more efficient and thought perhaps I was just unlucky with this one. I was considering buying another. I was disappointed that I could not now contact the manufacturer or supplier for his opinion on what the problems could be due to. Sadly this puts me off buying electronics as 1 in 3 working makes it quite expensive.Peter Donovan

not so secret spy camera clock
a great little travel alarm clock but very fiddly to set up and a very tiresome 'voice' each time you accidentally touch the top! if it is to be used as a covert spycam why does the thing have a great big blue flashing light on the front to tell everyone 'hey, look at me, I'm a secret camera watching your every move!' also as other reviews have said, you have to have it on the floor to capture anyones face!!!

no fix for driver software issues
First disclaimer-i did not purchase this product from this store so this is a review of the product itself not the vendor. PROS: clear picture upto a reasonable distance, good price compared to others.CONS: bought a microsd card for it to tape hours of video. the camera automatically tapes in 20min. segments which would be fine except that it compresses the files after the first segment - here begins the major problem!I have tried to read the files for over a week now and have installed driver upon driver to no avail. Also there is no codec information on the file so can't install the right codec if that is even a fix. Finally found a web post that said the camera (STK0SN 2.0) is not compatible with Vista and maybe other programs including mac and the manufacturer has not come up with a fix!I've written to the vendor and the company to no response and no fix. Also the camera view is good for distance but not for peripheral vision, so may not be good for roundish/largish rooms. Imagine seeing your room with blinders on. Also picture is useless as soon as the light is dim or in the dark although it claims to have good night vision. There is no light that stays on when the camera is in use so that explains it.Also the instructions are not very clear but you figure it out after trial and error with the camera itself.I will post an update review if i find a fix. I have also tried reading the recorded video on windows xp and it doesn't work either. If anyone finds a fix please post!!
