I started baking bread and got tired of scraping the bread off my dutch oven. These are perfect! Lift away easily, strong, and don't burn. Easy to clean. My bread doesn't burn now!

I highly recommend these bread slings. They work very well for transferring dough in and out of hot Dutch ovens. It can sometimes seem like there is a LOT of equipment to get when you want to get into sourdough baking. But these are worth it. (Remember NOT to touch the sling with your bear hand when it comes out of the oven.) I recommend these over parchment paper, which I find can rip.I use both the round and oval slings regularly. I put a sling in top of the proofing basket and flip the basket over to get the dough onto the sling. Then I lower it into a Dutch oven. (You can use a cold Dutch oven or a warm one - I’ve gotten comparable results.)One possible downside that I didn’t think about: a sling that is too thick could keep the Dutch oven lid from snuggly fitting. These seem to work fine though. See the pictures for some of my results, including a nice oven spring.

Moving a round boule of sourdough into a hot Dutch oven to bake is a difficult task without either messing up your dough or burning yourself. This neat contraption does it all. Just pick it up by the arms and put the whole thing in your Dutch oven. It stays there while it bakes, and is easy to lift out. Much easier to use than parchment slings!

I like these silicone bread slings although the one made for the loaf pan didn't fit as well as I would've liked in my loaf pan (it was a little wider than the bottom of the pan and came up on the sides of the pan about 1/4 inch on each side) but the round one fits great in my dutch oven, withstands the high heat required to bake bread. Easy to clean as well. I'd recommend these slings.

I love these bread slings. When looking for a silicone sling I was trying to find the circular and the oval sizes and this was the only site that I could find them on. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of the slings. They worked amazing and have saved me money (I was previously using parchment. These have little holes to help lift and do not stick to the dough at all. Would definitely recommend these slings if baking sourdough bread!

Took a couple of weeks to arrive to Australia but when it did they were put straight to work. With the long handles they are very easy to use worked perfectly and now no burnt fingers from the Dutch oven. So much better than the baking paper we were using.
