This works perfectly as lure for annoying fruit flies. There is almost no odor - very mild apple cider vinegar smell. I actually made a homemade lure that included apple cider vinegar & it was totally ineffective at luring fruit flies. This is the magic sauce for these annoying flying insects. Another reviewer recommended using this liquid along with BugBane sticky traps & that is exactly what I’m doing. Both work surprisingly better than I imagined. I will be a lifelong customer. Highly recommend!

This liquid is practically identical to the tiny bottles that come with the Terro traps. It smells exactly the same (like a savory mix of red wine and urine) and works just as well. So instead of wasting another 20 bucks on a handful of miniature plastic apples, just buy this replacement fluid. It works! And is FAR superior to apple cider vinegar. *Also, please be aware this liquid is most effective when used with an actual trap. Either in a container with small holes for the flies to enter but have difficulty escaping. Or, placed in conjunction with a sticky pad. Fruit flies typically don’t dive into bowls of wide open liquid. They’re looking to breed, not swim.

Works amazing! I tried using all the recipes I found online and they were ok. But then I got this and realized how poorly they worked lol. This even gets big hosue flies. I wish it didnt cost so much which is the reason for 4 stars not 5.

I initially left a negative review for this product because it did not work for me. It could be that the gnats or fruit flies in my area simply aren't attracted to it. Since I left the negative review, I was contacted several times by the seller offering a full refund. For that, I am raising my review to three stars instead of one. I am a sucker for excellent customer service and these guys know how to provide it. 2nd edit: even though I told them I didn’t require a refund, they went ahead and refunded me anyway. Raising my rating to five stars simply for the AMAZING customer service. I’m going to see what else this seller offers, because this level of customer service is outstanding and rare.

I ordered this twice and both orders got lost in delivery, I had to order the full kit in order to get the refill. Product works great but is expensive

I have been using this product for over a year. But, unfortunately, it appears the product solution has been diluted. It is not as effective prior solution received.
