The ring comes in a nice gift box with polishing cloth, so would be suitable as a gift if desired. It can be pushed in to a degree only, so would be unsuitable for someone with very small fingers such as a child. It can be pulled open quite a way if you are prepared to have a gap at the back.I wanted mine for my index finger – it fitted my ring finger perfectly so I had to pull it open for my index finger. There is now a gap at the back and it has ended up slightly misshapen. I do not mind, as I just fiddle away with it and don’t think of it as a dress ring. I am glad that it is sterling silver otherwise I couldn’t wear it due to skin reactions. If I was wearing it out in public I would say it is a subtle design that doesn’t particularly scream ‘anxiety ring’.

I ordered this anxiety ring for my daughter. It arrives in a nice box and the metal is smooth, no rough edges. The moveable beads are very small.Unfortunately as you try to expand the ring to make it bigger it doesn't remain round but goes into an oval shape. My daughter could only place it on her baby finger whereas I could get it over my ring finger but not my middle finger. So this is not suitable if you have large joints or plump fingers.With the change of shape and the lack of size for larger fingers, I am unable to recommend this ring, which is a pity as it looks good in the box.
