Works As intended.

This is a nice little case of assorted cotterpins. It came in handy when I was working on my brake job and I keep them in my toolbox just in case I need another one sometime. The collection is pretty good and the price was right.

Good high quality pins and a great assortment. However, when I unbound them I found that the smaller pins have the ability to leave their compartment and either fall out of the closed box or mix with other sizes. Not a good container if you plan on carrying this around. It would have been better if they came dumped in a bag to be separated because that's what I am doing now... separating 550 cotter pins.

There are parts fastened by these things in the mower. Ryobi wanted $2 for individual single use Cotter pins. Instead, I got 500+ for $12. Some of the bigger ones can't be used on the mower, but all the smaller ones can. And the bigger ones will probably work where the larger, reusable lock pins go (mainly attaching the mowing deck). And Amazon delivers far faster than any of the online spare parts places.

Kit contains 6 different sizes of cotter pins suitable for most automotive applications.

I’m the DIY mechanic who prefers to disassemble the ball joints and tie rods in order to check for wear. It’s simple to do but requires a new cotter pin at each assembly.
