I previously owned a Sealskinz waterproof woolly hat which I ended up giving to my wife, I have a large noggin and the hat was quite snug.The new version is available in larger sizes which is ideal for me, its a good fit, covers my ears well and although I haven't tested the waterproof element yet I am sure it will do the job.The only downside like the other version I had, is that the waterproof lining can create a rustling noise which sometimes isn't ideal if you are out walking with others, it can be distracting.Then again the whole point of this hat is that it keeps you warm and it is waterproof so its maybe a pointless gripe over what is an excellent hat.

Great in cold weather but can keep you a little too hot. Works great in the rain.

I've used this hat in light rain through to torrential rain. Highly recommend, great quality and definitely keeps my head dry. Good thickness for colder days as well, fluffy inside to make it warm during the cold rain!

Crinkles a wee bit as there’s like a plastic layer in the middle however you don’t notice it to much while on your head, really quite a warm hat
