A Mother's Grace by Rosie Goodwin
I really enjoyed this book and I think it was even better than the previous one in the days of the week collection. Although it is part of the days of the week series, it is a completely stand alone story so you don't need to have read the previous books. Which are also excellent reads. This book spans the years between 1891 to 1919 and tells the story of Madeleine and her unhappy marriage to judge Jacob and her young daughter Grace. As the story progresses the story is all Grace's and it turns out to be a sad and emotional one but as so often happens in a saga book everything turns out fine in the end. It is set firstly in Nuneaton then in Wales and I did think you could almost imagine you was there with them as the Welsh countryside was described well and of course not to forget the time that Grace spent at the Convent, where she learnt what drudgery was and it made her a very strong willed person. If you enjoy a good family saga then you will love this book.

Another brilliant story Rosie !!
Grace.......what a character. From the privileged life as the daughter of a perverted Judge and a beloved, gentle mother.........to a convent where she nearly became a postulant, to an amazing love affair........and a marriage of convenience to a cruel and vicious man. A son who she adored and thankfully a very happy ending

Another excellent book by Rosie Goodwin
Another page turner. A perfect book for a rainy day curled up on the sofa. Highly recommended. The story takes you on a rollercoaster off emotions and the characters seem to just come alive. You can picture them and I found that from about half way through I struggled to put this book down.

A Mother’s Grace
Another fantastic book of Rosie Goodwin’s once you start this book you can’t put down.Grace became a remarkable women but I don’t actually know how she coped with it from being a child and becoming a young woman the things she put up with I’m glad she found happiness in the end

Enthralling Story.
One of the best books I've read in a while. Normally I can work out how a book ends but there are many twists and turns in this book that the ending is hard to work out. I'm 75% through the book and thoroughly enjoying it.Don't want it to end.

Love conquers all
A very sad but good story with a lovely ending. People can be very cruel and women just take it and blame themselves. This author's books never fail to be very good.
