This calendar was bought as a Christmas present. The photos are beautiful, the compositions likewise.

A pleasing calendar
A lovely calendar that would make a great Christmas gift.Printed on quality heavyweight paper, there is a wide range of carefully chosen wildlife photos, each titled with its location. The Northern Gannet, on the front cover and the image for August, is spectacular. At £7.99, the calendar is reasonably priced compared with others.Anybody wanting to post it will be disappointed that it does not come with a postal envelope, but that is the only downside of what is otherwise a very pleasing calendar.

Absolutely stunning - 5 star plus plus plus
This Wild Britain Calendar is absolutely beautiful. All the 12 wildlife photos are exquisite, and it is very clear that Alison Bamber is an extremely talented photographer with a fantastic knack of being able to capture stunning images of our wild animals and birds in their natural habitats. Every month we will be able to remind ourselves of the wonderful nature at our doorstep and of the importance of ensuring its survival. The calendar itself opens out into A3 (A4 size photos and A4 size monthly dates pages). It is printed on a very thick high quality glossy card. It is a really nice touch that key official nature awareness days are noted on the monthly dates part of the calendar as well as the national holidays.I read on the back of the calendar that Alison supports the Lancashire Wildlife Trust and that a percentage of the calendar sales will be donated to the Trust. I received this calendar as part of the Vine programme, but am so delighted with it that I have donated myself to the Lancashire Wildlife Trust and will follow their valuable activities through their newsletters in the future.Alison, if you read this, you are a truly talented photographer, and I will look out for your calendar in 2025.

WOW…great natural photos well laid out calendar
What a great calendar. The preview of the photos/months only gives a flavour . The individual shots you can appreciate the location and subject. The cover photo being an under water shot of a gannet used for August took me a couple of views to work out. It’s a great shot. Alisons photos place you in the location. The close up shots make you feel as though you can touch the animals. I appreciate the time its takes to capture such natural shots. The A4 prints open up into an A3 with the days of the month laid out on the lower page. plenty of room to diary on. I will be using this in my office. The prints are on good quality thick paper which you could frame them and mount them on a wall as individual photos afterwards. My favourite shots are the 2 rabbits-April, Owl-July, Otters -September and Sparrow Hawk-October

High quality paper but some of images are not great quality
Nice high quality glossy paper and the calendar layout is the type that my wife likes, where there is space to scribble in notes against dates. It does not come with any form of presentation packaging - it's just a bare calendar, something worth bearing in mind if you are planning to gift it.For me, as a photographer, the the quality of many of the images was disappointing. They were either soft (not sharp) or had been noticeably oversharpened. This might be a production issue rather the fault of the photographer but either way it's not what I would expect in a wildlife calendar.
