Very good batteries, neat charger. These were bought for use with a ATOMOS Ninja V, they each power the monitor for a good hour and a half. Highly recommended.

Use these to power my neewer led lights, these are fast to charge and long operating time. Can not fault these, would definitely recommend

I use sony batteries for a lot of my kit such as my Blackmagic pocket 4K and my 7 inch monitor. Official Sony brand batteries cost a small fortune for just one, whereas these neewer ones come in a four pack with a charger for not much more! So I was interested to see how much worse they were, and the answer is actually not much! I’m tests I seem to be getting half an hour less battery life per battery compared with brands like baxxtar and sony, but given how much cheaper these are that’s not a bad trade off as you can easily have a lot more in your kit! They’ve been very reliable too, no issues charging them, they work for consistent amounts of time every time! So they’re decent, not the absolute best batteries you can buy, but not bad at all! The charger that comes in this kit is fantastic, having a simultaneous quad charger makes it a breeze to get them all charged for a shoot, and they seem to charge pretty quickly! The charger itself is just plastic and not the most premium feeling thing, but consequently it’s really light weight to throw in a bag, and as small as if realistically could be for a quad charger. It’s also silent unlike my quad v lock chargers! It comes with all the required cables and uk plug so you’re ready to get started straight away. So, all in all, it’s 4 stars not 5 just because the battery capacity could be better, but in terms of value you can’t get much better!

Great item at the right price, delivered on time in good condition. Easy to use, compact and quiet. A great little multi charger that does the job. I would definitely buy from this seller again. 🙂

You can never have too many batteries on a shoot, and batteries being batteries do get exhausted. The Sony NP battery plate spec is as close as we get to a universal fitting that I can think of and the 6,600 mAh F970 is a hefty resource in more than one sense of the word. I use mine for LED lighting and the combination of LED and a portable battery with a reasonable charge suits my use case. So this offers us a total 26,400 mAh (with battery changes) that can be recharged from the mains as we go along or in prep for an extended use day. Not quite the maximum mAh we can get but definitely up there and still extremely useful. The batteries themselves are nicely built and feel robust and certainly I feel confident in using them. That said and because of their capacity they do take a time to charge and the ampage available on the charger unit varies with the amount of batteries on charge (1 amp for 3/4 2 amps for 1/2), and really, if not just topping up prior to use this is a night before sort of job, especially if we are talking 3 or 4 batteries on the charger if charging from flat or near to. There are a number of features advertised as built in to help keep this safe but the only way of testing them is in the heat generated as a result of recharging battery and the source itself, the charger, and I can say both got warm but not particularly. As such charging the batteries that came with it (at about 80% charged) and a near flat state of charge battery I already owned, generated a little heat but certainly not enough to worry about. The charger is well constructed but of rigid plastic, much the same as a lap top charger, which should be ok in normal use but may be less resistant to bumps and drops than it might be. This stays in one place with me so I am not worried by it, but if porting around with other equipment it may be something to consider. I would stress, however, that this is a minor point. Certainly I have, on current experience of this unit, no worries about its practicality or reasonable use. And it is very handy!
