SUNWAYFOTO PSL-a7RIII Dedicated L Plate L-Bracket for Sony Alpha A7III, A7MIII and A7RIII Arca / RRS Compatible

I can only speak for the copy that I received, so I'm not sure what issues the other reviewers are talking about. This fits my A7RIII perfectly and even with hand tightening the screw is rock solid. It's a bit annoying to access the ports on the side of the camera with this installed but oh well. The included screws that prevent the camera from sliding off the head fell out but that's my fault for just tightening them by hand not with a tool.

The Bracket fits well on my Sony A7-RIIIa camera. It is an absolute requirement for steady Portrait shots from a tripod. The Arca-Swiss mount fit onto my Tripod's Ball Mount with no issue and locks down nicely. I thought is was a little expensive for what you get, but it is less expensive than other brands - so there is that. It seems sturdy but I have not used it a lot in the field with my 600mm lens yet. There was no padding on the camera side of this mount like there is on some other mounts. That padding might make it more secure. I will update this review if there are any issues - but for now, I would recommend this L-Bracket!

I purchased this for my a7III. Previously I have used the RRS brackets which are 3X the price. I found no compromises in this bracket - the fit and finish of it is perfect. I really like the 1/4" mounting lug with the stowable twist handle - much more useable than a hex wrench. I also like the provision that allows me to attach my Peak Design Slide Lite shoulder strap to the bottom of the camera using this bracket. Nice design and great value.

The Sunwayfoto L plate feels sturdy and fits perfectly. It adds only minimal weight to my setup. It is also considerably less expensive than many of the comparable options.

I already have an L bracket for the Sony A7rIII but it's pretty heavy so I was looking for something light. I have an L bracket from this company for my Fuji and it works great. Unfortunately, this L bracket was a huge disappointment: when I set this up in the house it looked great, however, I was shooting in some cold weather and then the bracket had play (I could rotate the camera with my hand). No amount of tightening that screw helped. Additionally, what were they thinking when adding a screw that needs a screwdriver for tightening? All my other plates use an Allen wrench so that's shat I carry in my photo bags. So i'd say, look elsewhere. Unfortunately there aren't many options for a lightweight L bracket.....

This L plate still leaves access to all of the camera's ports. Works great.

I was not shipped/sold the SUNWAYFOTO PSL-a7RIII Dedicated L Plate. Instead, I was twice sent the SUNWAYFOTO PSLO-A7IINR Dedicated L Plate for the Sony A7RII. Again, I ordered the SUNWAYFOTO Dedicated L Plate for the Sony A7RIII twice, but was twice sent the Dedicated L Plate for the A7RII. Nevertheless, to my surprise, the SUNWAYFOTO PSLO-A7IINR Dedicated L Plate for the Sony A7RII fits the Sony A7RIII perfectly, except it blocks the ports on the left side of the camera. Because the A7RII plate fits both cameras perfectly, I decided to keep one of the plates, as I own both an A7RII and an A7RIII. I also own a Kirk L plate for my Nikon D750 ($135) and a Really Right Stuff L plate for my A6500 ($120). I assure you that this dedicated L plate for the A7RIII FITS EVERY-BIT-AS-GOOD as those Kirk and RRS plates fit on my two other camera bodies. RRS is charging $200 for its A7RIII dedicated l plate and Kirk is charging $145. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THIS PLATE FOR THE A7RII/A7RIII! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! SEE THE PHOTOS BELOW FOR PROOF. Note: I gave the review 4 stars because they technically sent the wrong item twice. Update: The third party seller (OEC) contacted me and clarified that Amazon was responsible for shipping the wrong item twice. So, I reordered the SUNWAYFOTO PSL-a7RIII Dedicated L Plate again, and this time they sent the correct item. Sunwayfoto has a winner with this bracket. It fits perfectly and allows access to all the ports--all for $60! As I've written, I previously paid $120 for a RRS l plate for my A6500 and $135 for a Kirk L plate for my D750. I regret those purchases, now that I see Sunwayfoto manufactures plates with the same quality/precision for a fraction of the cost. See attached photos of which several show the l plate for the A7RII and several for the A7RIII. Thrones for the A7RIII have a portrait mode plate that goes higher than the A7RII l plate and that allow access to the bottom ports on the A7RIII. Update (06/28/2020): The SUNWAYFOTO PSL-a7RIII Dedicated L Plate fits my A9II but does not allow good access to the side doors.

Works perfect for my panos and veritcal shots, I can still get to all my ports. Only wish it had a little foam on pad between camera.

SUNWAYFOTOの商品は過去にいくつも購入して、プロダクトとしてみればしっかりしたモノだという印象を持っておりました ようやく発売された7RIII用L字プレート、早速注文させていただいたのですが… たまたまの誤出荷かと思ったら同時期に購入された方の多くが同じモノを掴まされている模様 ショップ側の入出庫の検品が甘いのでしょうか? 普通、間違えないですよね… いやもう、本当にガッカリしました(呆)
