Good
The book is older (pub date 2013) however it is solid and has excellent information.I like the fact it is integrative (western and alternative medicine). Helpful for any young woman wanting to learn more. Actually, there was so much "good stuff" that I wished I read this 10 years ago!

Not very detailed
It is very basic definitions with medications and herb descriptions. Does not provide tips and guidance in detail. For the herbs, there are no side effects listed to watch out for.

Was not happy with this book
Was not happy with this book. I am a health fanatic, but this was way too much on the "professional doctor's vocabulary" rather than writing about practical practices we could use to help us find ways to help regulate our hormones. The best book I have read so far is "the wisdom of menopause" by Christine Northrup, M.D.BackWeekly Ad
