Song of the Dark Man: Father of Witches, Lord of the Crossroads (Sacred Planet)

I am making my way through this currently. The author has a terrific command of language, and an amazingly eclectic range as far as sources of relevant information. The volume combines rather wonderfully the essential ingredients of history, perspective, practical experience, and witness testimony from a range of participants, including some particularly important contemporary practitioners. Darragh Mason's practical wisdom and calm, kind personality - so evident in his skill as an interviewer on Spirit Box and also as the interviewee when appearing as a guest - come through warmly in the pages of the book. The hard copy feels great, has weight and the paper is particularly smooth and enjoyable. The print is dark and readable, which for some of us is particularly helpful! Even for a paperback, it is already taking on something of a talismanic quality for me.
