My mom really enjoys hearing the different birds on the hour, and, it silences itself automatically during the sleeping hours.

I had one for years until it stopped. I just purchased a new one and was excited to put it up but there was no sound to it. Retried new batteries again and again and still no sound. Sadly, will repack and return and try another seller.

So far, I have not been able to hear the bird sounds. I did, however, put batteries in before following directions. I will keep trying. When the "hour" comes around, it does click but not sing.I was able to remove the batteries and follow instructions once again. It does work. I can hear the bird sounds, and it works on time. This is a quartz clock, and the second hand moves smoothly. All my other clocks, "click" as they move.I verified the bird sounds with the internet, and they were close to being accurate.

A great clock for the bird and nature lover! Great for a sunroom or porch. We enjoy ours on our patio. Each hour a different bird tweets and it sounds very realistic.

My dad had given a very similar clock to my grandmother back in the early '80s and had it for YEARS until it broke recently. My grandmother loved it, my aunt HATED it, so naturally, my only course of action was to replace it ASAP. I had it delivered to her over the pandemic, she loved it. I saw her recently for the first time and it was the first thing she showed me when I came into her house. I can't speak for everyone, but she adores it, and I adore her, and that's 5 stars from me.

It doesn’t sound like any birds, we know in fact, it’s just a series of beeps and squawks. But it does tell time pretty good.
