my Vit D was a little low on my lab testing so i started taking these instead of going outside more. they're pretty easy to swallow but i wouldn't try it without some water. i don't really know what the absorbency is but they don't seem to come out the other end so i assume they are absorbed well. i was asked to rate the flavor, it is a capsule so i suppose i could open it and try but i assume that would be awful (i mean, they put it in a capsule so that i wouldn't have to taste it right?). Anyway, they taste like water to me.

Vegetarian vitamin D isn't all that easy to find, and it's expensive. This is a good option.

This product is safe

I have been taking this product for a few years now. I got my vitamin D level checked a couple years ago by a lab test and my blood level was perfect, so I know it's working. My husband takes it too. We are 100% plant based so it's important to us to use vegan supplements.
